hey mylotters, i ordered a mouse in a webshop, and they would ship it within 5 days, but the 5 days are over now, and i'm moving somewhere else -- mouse would come at the wrong adress if they ever send it. so i mailed them, and they said: we can't change the adress because you've already paid for the product. But i wouldn't need to change the adress if they kept their delivery time. so what can i ask them? can i demand the adress change because they didnt keep their delivery time, or get 25% reduction or would they be like: lol! just cancel your order, we dont care! my question: what should i do now/ ask from them. have a nice day! douwie

Well just from what you have here I don't see any thing wrong. They said that it would ship in 5 days not arrive in 5 days. You need to account for actual delivery time. I have learned that just because a company says that you should get the item in this many days chances are you will not. There are a lot of things that can hamper your delivery time, such as weather, political problems, rioting, fires, and a bunch of other things as well. I would have waited to order till I was at my new place and had it sent there. I think that your hands are tied when it comes to them doing anything for you. Most times there is a disclaimer in fine print that people never bother to read. I would just put this up to a lesson learned for the future. If you never receive the mouse at all if you paid with a credit card you can call the credit card company and contest the charge they will then investigate it and if you are being wronged they will find in your favor. I hope that your mouse shows up though nothing worse than not getting what you wanted.
