my fiance poured some koolaid and i stole a sip of it... for some reason he thought i drank it all so he grabbed his favorite glass out of the dishwasher that just got done and poured ice cold koolaid in it, well the glass was still hot so it broke, and he just sat there looking at it!
i was like wow your just so smart arnt you :p but thats why i love him he can always make me laugh

Awww.. that's sad. The favorite glass broke.
I have a similar experience but with a much larger scale. We had this turbo broiler for a long time that's made of glass. I was so excited to roast some chicken for my nephew and niece and since there were a lot of us then, I had to cook 2 batches. After cooking the first batch, I took the chicken out and put a new chicken (from the cooler) in and the moment the chicken touched the glass, it shattered!
Whew! I should have let the chicken wait to room temperature before putting it in. I was just so brilliant that day. So today, our turbo broiler is nothing but a head with another body (I used a big pot nowadays) at least we can still use it.
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

xmichelletarax ouch that must have been a sight. Glass can be treacherous as I took a hot Pyrex dish of food from the oven and set it down on a shelf taken out of the fridge.Bang glass shards and tuna casserole went flying on my arms, my legs and the floor.,Poured copious amounts of cold water on myself, then
my son called 911 as I was in severe pain and passing out.,
third degree burns on arms and legs.Spent four da ys in a burn unit until I was able to go home without too much pain, no scars from
the burns however.Never put oven hot foods on a cold shelf ever.lesson learned
