The prune juice just taste too different

I know that the prune juice has a different taste. It's not something that would taste great for all people. It has quite a strong taste to it. I have noticed that there's one prune juice sitting on the refrigerators. So I took it out and then drink but I spew it out immediately because the taste is quite different. So I think it has spoiled already. Maybe we frequently turn off the ref from time to time so it was not able to last. But I have not read when it's expiration would be.
