My Samsung Touch Screen is acting up all the time

My touch screen samsung phone is starting to act up. It would freeze, and sometimes, it wouldn't take the actions I want when I press on the icons. It started when my husband used it and inserts it in his pocket instead of the cellphone holder. Now, I have to restart it everytime and wait for a few minutes to an hour for it to be back to normal. I think we're just counting on days before it's no longer usable.

If you are using the android version of the phone it might be there is an upgrade in the software and you need to upgrade it. I have similar experience about it about a couple of weeks ago. When I upgraded it the performance went back to normal. But if your phone is not the android type of cellphones then I do not know if this applies.

No, its not an android samsung phone. I hope it is. It's the pixon M8800. I never thought touch screens could have these issues. I was too happy with its camera feature at the time I bought it.

Oh well it must really be the phone or you just need some tweaking made in its setting. But if it is the hardware that is at fault then maybe time to scout for a replacement than have it repaired which may prove to be more costly than buying a new one.

Yeah, if it would get worse and needs servicing which may cost a lot, then I'd rather just keep it as souvenir or paper weight, and buy a new one.
