I'm 35 and just realised I may be half way through my life!

So the realisation that at 35 I could be half way through my life really hit home while I was driving along today. And the fact is that time seems to be speeding up as I get older, so the second half of my life will appear to go much faster than the first half. I had this thought today that I really make sure I spend my time wisely because what we have goes so quickly. Has anyone had a similar experience where this thought occurs to them, and I would love to hear from people more advanced in years as to how quickly life doe seem to pass once you get to the 35-40 year age bracket.

I am 41 and I can say that life is indeed too fast.
I can't even recall the old old days.
Remembering the past make me feel too old, so I just live day by day.
Yes, run times too fast that we need to run faster to achieve what is left behind.
