Some people afraid of making mistakes. Why? We are not perfect so it's inevitable to commit mistakes. For me, it's alright to commit mistakes, we'll just have to learn from them. I read a quote that if you did the same mistakes twice, the second one is already your choice. Happy mylotting everyone.

I think it is because of the society, or the people around the person that make him or her lie that. they may put too much pressure on the person even without knowing it. Since the world is so advanced these days, everyone wants to succeed and the competition is fierce.

Yes, some people are perfectionist so people around them are affected. They don't want to commit mistakes too or they get reprimanded. They are always under pressure. They don't have freedom to do what they want. They are always being observed, etc. Due to these people, people are afraid of committing mistakes. Happy mylotting.

One more thing I guess, is the competition. I mean there are many surplus (people) available just in case, especially in employment or in job area. Once an employee is committing mistakes again and again and don't do something to improve, there's a possibility that he/she will be replace by others who is very willing to do the same job he/she had. So most of the time some people are under pressure not to commit mistakes if possible.

Hi! Yes, I also fear of making mistake since making mistake will make me feel upset and embarassed. Maybe I will be blamed by the teammate, by the manager, by the boss... I will be looked down upon... But most of my time, I am confident about my job and seldom to make mistake . I think this kind of feeling help people to some extent to avoid loss or keep safe. But to some extent, it is harmful to a person's mental health if he is too nervous about every thing he does , just be afraid of making mistake.

Yes, I agree with you. It's not good for us to be nervous at all times. We have to be confident and not be pressured. We should have some peace of mind. Instead of those people judging us, they should guide us in order not to commit mistakes. Happy mylotting.

I wish I wasn't afraid of making mistakes, as I'd have a lot more confidence and would've accomplished more in life. I fear failure and judgement both which holds me back from a lot of things in life; I wish I knew why but I don't.

Yes, we have some questions in our lives that we can't answer. However, we ourselves can find the answers to those questions if we'll try to risk. We don't know the real meaning of success if we don't experience failure. Happy mylotting.

I think it is really only human to make mistakes. I make a lot of typing mistakes when I am typing here on Mylot and I go back and make changes with all the errors that I make here. Out there in real life I do make the occasional mistake in my life and am ready to take responsibility for the mistake I have made and make sure I correct myself and make sure it doesn't happen in the future.

Hi friend, you are right, rectifying mistakes are the secret of our success. The person who don't do mistakes don't learn anything, we learn a lot of things with our mistakes, don't hesitate to do a thing and fear about the failure or mistakes, do everything with your confidence, surely you will achieve it

Yes, you are definitely right. Instead of being afraid, we need to gain more confidence. If others can, why can't we? Right? We just need to take risks. Happy mylotting.

No one is perfect so why fear in committing it . Only those who fear are those who have never tried. We will never be able to learn if we can't commit a mistake. All of us have our shares of mistakes right?

Yes, all of us have committed mistakes. Nobody's perfect. Some people aren't just brave enough to face their fear in making mistakes so they never attempt to do risky things. We are all learning from our mistakes. Those mistakes put us where we are now. Happy mylotting.

Personally we are all prone to making a mistake a time or two in our lifetime, and usually it will end up a whole lot more than that. It would be nice if it was not so, but then how we learn from anything? The real motto of life is to learn from our mistakes and move on. Do not live in your past. Learn how these mistakes can actually become learning tools to help someone else along the way as well.

Yes, I agree with you. When we learn from our mistakes, we can also teach other people who are experiencing the same situation. We usually share our life experiences and we give them some pieces of advice from what we have experienced. Therefore, committing mistakes has some benefits too. We and other people learn from them and we become better people. Happy mylotting.

This fear sometimes can hamper our growth. It is all right to make mistakes. Normal people make mistakes. No one is perfect. According to one saying, only God is perfect and we are nowhere near God, so let us be thankful instead that we are here and are able to learn from those mistakes.

Yes, you are right. God is the only one who is perfect. We aren't perfect. Fearing mistakes will greatly affect our success. If we don't risk, we'll stay in our place forever. We have to be brave enough to face our fears. Mistakes show that we are only humans. We have imperfections, weaknesses and fragility. Happy mylotting.

Everyone makes mistakes. Some are afraid to commit mistakes. That is also good because if a person is afraid to commit mistakes then he or she is careful on what he or she will do. There are also some who can't accept mistakes, if we tell them of their mistakes they immediately become angry with us. That is why some arguments came from correcting a mistake of a person. Then quarrel will arise. That is due to some foolish pride.

Yes, I agree with you. Some people can't admit their mistakes. For them, they are always right. What is wrong is still right for them. But, we can't allow ourselves to remain silent. We have to let them know that what they did is wrong and they have to learn from it. That's why misunderstandings always take place. They have to correct their mistakes or they will live by it. Happy mylotting.

I think that's a human thing. To make mistakes. I have made mistakes but once I have done it, it doesn't happen again. I try my hardest to not make the same mistake twice and I try to teach my girls but at this day and age that is impossible! They r little now but I do teach them lifes' game.

Yes, we can't avoid committing mistakes. It's a part of our learning. We only do our best not to commit one but there are times that we can't help it. No matter what we do. It's sometimes not beyond our control. Happy mylotting.

I admit it, I committed lot of mistakes before but I know I've learned many things from those mistakes. No matter how hard we plan in life, there are still things beyond our control. We should not be afraid to commit mistake as this is part of life.

Committing mistakes are only a part of our life. People believed that, one time is okay, two times is fine but on the third time, that is too much.

I had a same experience during an internship. I was constantly afraid of making the same mistake, especially after being reprimanded by my boss. Fortunately, an assistant in the office told me that we are all human, and mistakes happen all the time. I felt a little bit better, but I still worked in extreme caution. The mistake I made was simple: writing down the wrong numbers in the wrong order

Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, I agree with you. We can't avoid committing mistakes especially when we are still a beginner or learning something. We are only human and not God. Nobody's perfect. So, mistakes always happen to us. Happy mylotting.

Mistake happens no matter how we tried to become a perfect. What matters is, we know when to accept those mistakes. Sometimes people do not accept their fault and never admit their mistakes which make it even harder for them to change things. Committing mistake is normal. The best lesson in life are the ones where we committed mistakes.

For some, it is because they had develop a sense of inferiority complex that making mistakes will hurt them very much. Sometimes, these people think the other way around - instead of using their mistake to correct the future, they simply coward and never again take any risk. Risk is an everyday decision for us to become a better person.

Oh, yeah. Some people are not brave enough to face their fear. Their fear is to commit mistakes. They don't take risks so they miss a lot of opportunities. I hope they'll learn that taking risks will also offer them a better future. If they won't even try, thenthey won't be successful too. Happy mylotting.

Yes, mistakes are humane and it happens to everyone. But once made a mistake and if we repeat the same, it can't be considered as mistake. We need to correct it from our experience and go ahead with less mistakes and errors which can be possible by understanding and studying better. When we try the best way possible to reduces the chances for mistakes, we are becoming efficient in whatever we are doing also.

hey angelkarah050182 , i personally believe that after our mother , mistakes are our best teachers.......if one had not done any mistake in life, he had not learned anything... secondly, after doing mistakes we start valuing the things and what we have in our life ( especially in the case of relationships ). we are satisfied from our life and happiness comes from within.

Yes, committing mistakes teaches us a lot in our lives. When we commit one, we avoid doing one again. We learn from it. Our teachers, our parents and relatives aren't always around to teach us. We learn by ourselves. Dealing with things will make us commit mistakes. You're right, after having mistakes we value our things, our friends and our loved ones more.
