Question: Identify a horror movie

I watched this horror movie once and I don't remember its name, It would be nice if somebody could identify it for me. It's about this family who moves into a house in the middle of nowhere, now basically the daughter (who is really young) has this imaginary 'friend' which is some kind of a ghost. Now, the dad of the family can't handle the pressure and goes crazy and really gets really violent. A scene I recall from the movie is when the young daughter stants on the roof and says "my friend (the ghost probably) told me to go here and jump so I can be with her" - something like that. Does that sound familiar to you?
