Barcelona midfielder , Andres Iniesta is nominated as the best european player version UEFA season 2011/2012..He beats the last year winner, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo..
The choice based on the voting by 53 journalist from every country which become UEFA member. The voting is done after the drawing session of Champions league season 2012/2013..
I think it is the good for Barcelona and Iniesta..he deserve for this trophy..He helps Spanish national team in defending their trophy of Euro cup 2012 and giving Barcelona trophy of Copa Del Ray..Andres Iniesta is the best player in Euro cup 2012..
Andres Iniesta deserve for this award..

This award has been looking from Iniesta contribute to Spanish national team and barcelona club.He played very well with that team.I think Xavi is also playing good,but sometimes Xavi is not in the good performance.We all know that Messie can't help Argentina national team to win anything,he just played good in Barcelona,and christiano same with Messie,Portugal national team also can't shine in European football,both messi and ronaldo can played well in their team because coach already give them for great position.

I saw the ceremony live and was happy to see Iniesta win the trophy by beating both Messi and Ronaldo. I was hoping it will go to Xavi, but his mixed performance in the Euros probably cost him the title. Iniesta definitely deserved it for his performance for both Club and Country and the fact that he has got some of the most important goals for both.

After smashing all scoring records, one would have expected either Messi or Ronaldo to walk away with the award. For Iniesta to have won it, I would have think that Spain success in Euro 2012 play a big part. If that is the case, then I don't think he is worthy of it.

Yes, Iniesta was very good, especially at the European Championship. Together with Xavi, they build the best midfielder duo in the history and this award must be share with all of his teammates. Like he said, without the help of his teammates, this individual trophy has no value.

He played as a left winger both at Barcelona and Spanish national team, but he is very mobile, he has mobility freedom, because he reads the game very well and he knows where to position himself, so he can help the team better.

Yes, I strongly agree that Andres Iniesta is a player who was awarded as the best European player. I actually expect Ronaldo to receive this award. But look at the reality that Ronaldo could only present the La Liga title, while Andres Iniesta but can give his Copa Del rey he can also bring Spain defend the European title. And indeed he is worth getting this award.
