Last night we heard the news of the earthquake hitting some parts of our country and honestly it was a scary thought. That was around midnight when i was still watching the news and then a friend texted me and saying..the rapture is coming, He is near and i know with that text she is referring to the end of the world crap again. Really. We are already scared of it and yes it might be the end of the world and IT might NOT be too right? but cmon, text me about it at the middle of the night???

Hello, jazel_juan! Always are afraid about the end of the world. But I don't think God will allow it to happen again. If there are calamities that happen, I think they have become a part of our lives. We just need to live each day the beat as we can and learn to love and take care of our environment.

I do have the same thoughts as you do Ms.Jenny, the thing is i do not need someone to remind me about it again and again. And yes the earthquake and the floods are just mother nature thing, it is normal to experience these stuff as the earth is moving

We may not know if it is happening or not at that moment or right now, we may not know when, where or how, but it will happen. The time is near and when it will finally come there's no turning back. The least thing that we could do is to be ready at all times. We should be prepare to face Him and to accept His judgement. But as promised, those who remains in Him will be with Him, so there's nothing to fear for the Lord is faithful in His word. His word will never perish. The world will but He will stay the same, yesterday, today and forever. Have a blessed day.

Absolutely, but it will come. As it is written in His word He will come to judge the people but whoever remains in Him will be with Him. His word never fails and He is always true to His promises. If you have a Bible try reading the book of Revelation and the answers to your questions are all there.

I do believe the rapture is currently happening now. The Bible might describe it like a day event, but actually it is not. A lot of the sign as describe by the rapture is already been seen. It is just we who don't understand it. The NEAR is coming, but nobody knows how long or how short is the NEAR. In GOD's time it is totally different. Like the 6 days of earth creation, it didn't meant it was built within exact 6 days. it might take 6 thousands years. So does the rapture. We might laugh or think people talking nonsense when they start to speak about the rapture. But the truth is, it is already happening.

When the earthquake gets stronger last night, that thought came into my mind too, jazel. I told myself that this might be the end of the qorld if it didn't stop. But thank God it stopped. I was already calling the caregiver of my father-in-law who was bedridden, so he could be taken out since the chandelier was really swinging wildly as if in a moment it will fall. But i thank God the earthquake stopped.

Well, I too have heard the news of the earthquake that struck yesterday the Philippine Islands. Clearly, the first thought was for people like you, or friends Mylotters, who live just in the Philippines. As for the subject of the imminent end of the world, well, I must say that I feel a little skeptical before an event so huge. Ok that many talk about the imminent arrival of such a cataclysm by the end of this 2012, but frankly I, and I'm sorry if I tell you so frankly, I do not believe at all. (In any case hope that my skepticism is correct! So as we prepare at the end of the world!)

Hi alberello, yes i also do not believe it will end by 2012. i believed that god won't let this happen as he had promised. You guys also be safe. I just heard from news as to what caused the earthquake, the experts says there are too much movement in the pacific ocean and the pacific ring of fire right now which is causing the rocks to move below. I hope it wont happen again.

It's really scary to hear about some calamities taking place in different parts of the world. Recently, our country was hit by heavy rains and floods, and now, the earthquake. People are entitled to their own beliefs, but I think your friend picked out the worst time to text you about such matters. Whether this is true or not, there's no need to scare one another.

I agree with you...so many are so caught up in that crap...thinking the end is near. Well as far as I am concerned there is only one person who knows when that is and I would prefer not to know...I'll take the situation when it comes and I am not going to sit and worry about it....that is a total waste of time.

There had been so many civilizations who had come to an end after a thousand years. surely we are better than them, we have the technology to survive even though there would still be losses along the way. it's never the end of the world, otherwise we never would have been born in the first place. maybe were not so used to the natural disaster just like the japanese does in their earthquakes.be optimistic my friend

I guess people were just freaking out, and they might watch too much sci - fi movies lately, and believe in the world will end in 2012. Anyway, is Earthquake a common activity at your country? If so, you should know the drill, and you should where to hide, and seek help. Hopefully this rapture won't be too bad at all.

Hmm...from the words of yours I can feel that you're not really comfortable with the action of your friend, am I right? Well, sometimes it is quite hated when someone seems like pushing us in negative ways. I mean like it is not something encourage but it will make you feel really panic. I think your friend was afraid of the incident and at the same time he/she was scaring of bad things might be happen to his/her friends. So what about taking it in the point of he/she was caring of you?

" The Earth is Ripe and it's harvesting time"... sooner or later our world will eventually on that situation. What we are looking for is the right time. yes these things that were experiencing are evidence of our impending end of the Earth. Or as we say "life as we know it".We do not know when, where and how but its a signs that we are living in the last days on Earth. Just live the life to the fullest and always thank GOD everyday coz we do not know what will happen to us. When rupture is coming. Selected people will dissapeared and GOD is waiting for them. I may not be a perfect Human being, all i want is to be on the list of his written book.My soul would be happy if I'm one of them.

Only God will know when is the end of the world , all we heard are just hersays to make us panic , but the best thing for us to do is to be prepared , to be ready , means to be ready with our soul , to repent and do only good things to our fellows,.
