Today I was driving all around and nearly forgot it was the end of the month!

Today was a super busy day for me. Thursday afternoon, I signed up for my real estate licensing class and Nick (the recruiter) asked me to meet with Marci, the broker in charge of the office I'm hoping to be part of, at 11 AM. I woke up later than expected, and was 15 minutes late because I was bandaging my knee. I got to the office, and she's not even there! They asked me to wait, since she was coming right back, but after an hour, she wasn't, but they called her and we rescheduled the meeting for an hour later. OK, that's fine, I'll go to my next stop-paying the fine at the court. I get there and it's closed for lunch-UGH! I note that I've got just enough time to go BACK to the real estate office and made it just on time. We had a brief but informative meeting and I have just enough time to run into the grocery store across the street to grab a drink before my next appointment at the salon at 2:45-at least I arrived 10 minutes early. I sat and read some of the material I was given, and then completed my appointment in 45 minutes. I would have had JUST enough time to make it to my last appointment if I hadn't missed my turn (and encountered so many foolish drivers!); alas, I missed going back to the court by 25 minutes-I forgot they closed at 3:15! So I got home and was so tired from being out in the heat (not good for my health) that we ordered in tonight. And I've been alternating answering discussions here on myLot, playing on Facebook (can't resist!) and watching Dirty Dancing twice (LOVE Patrick Swayze!). But I figured I'd start one last discussion before going and reading some 50 Shades of Grey. I feel like I only accomplished three things yesterday (because it's 1:15 now). Did you meet all of your goals? What sorts of things did you want to accomplish?

What a day! I don't even know what to say about all that stuff you had going on. I'm exhausted just reading about it. And what are you doing over here? You're supposed to be over in the Dirty Dancing discussion. I feel like I'm hopping around trying to find you. My notifications keep popping up. Goals? I had one goal for Friday. I expected to find a check in my mailbox for at least $50,000 and it wasn't there again. I'll have to keep wishing. I have no goals anymore. It's useless for me to have goals.

I know I shouldn't indulge in road rage, but he was so close to me, I couldn't see his headlights-and that's just WAY too close for comfort. He really had the problem-once he passed me, I slowed down to get away. And then moved back to the other side of the truck-he nearly stopped on the ramp-I really think if there had been room , he'd have come after me! I never had enough money to over-indulge shopping in stores, but I went crazy when I discovered Freecycle! I got a lot of stuff I didn't have or need, just wanted. Thank goodness those days are over! Well, here's to hoping you visualize that $50.000 check!

Yeah, the valid ones (checks) always work better than those crappy invalid, voided out no good ones. I like the bit about the moron & the truck driver. And the Jersey girl-dont....I get road rage too easy and it prevents me from doing something smart like that. I start yelling and leaning on my horn. It doesn't help. You know I almost always get a great spot to park, too. And I've heard that before about visualization. I try to visualize myself on a remote island off the coast of Maine but it's not working yet. :-/ I used to shop all the time. Constantly. Then I stopped. I mentioned it in another discussion in here somewhere. Something really sad happened (nothing to do with shopping) in '07 and I never shopped again. It was good that I stopped because I just would buy everything I liked, whether I needed it or had room for it didn't matter. Compulsive. Now I'm trying to get rid of everything. I did a complete turn around. Instead of wanting everything I don't want anything anymore.

I've been really busy too, and it's been hard to remember even what day of the week it is. It sounds like you've been pretty productive and your computer/movie time was a well deserved break. I've been trying to get a bunch of paperwork done and to clear away a pile of clutter. Today I need to get some baking done so that we have snacks in the house.

Having been out of work for this long (since the week of the 4th of July), I often find myself asking Jim, or else I forget! I had planned to do paperwork this week, but didn't even get beyond moving it around to look UNDER it. I need to purchase a new file drawer because the box we were using is full.

hi today is Saturday Sept 1st here in sunny southern California USA and I did not quite make my goal of 20 dollars earnings but have 17.63 so not two bad for only having two weeks this month as my computer was out of commission for the first two weeks. So I am happy and hoping to see my son this s weekend. We will have a special dinner Monday to celebrate LaborDaym here at Gold Crest.

That is very impressive for only two weeks! Did you at least make payout? I hope you're having a lovely time there in southern California and have a special dinner on Monday. Jim and I are going to a special train show in Scranton, PA, where there will be a number of historical train engines (well, new trains painted in old train lines that are defunct). Monday will be quiet here at home-no plans otherwise.

I vaccuumed the floors. That's all I needed to accomplish. A lot of the things I need to accomplish I have to wait for this or that on, so let's just say boring boring days until I can get it all done. I didn't even mylot all that much because I was bored of it. Sounds like a full day of errands, I'd be pooped and ready for bed after all that.

I know I should be, but since Jim wanted me to get Pepsi to go with our dinner, I'm now wide awake! I think after I respond to the last few people, I'll head in to the bedroom and read until I go to sleep. Do you have carpeting, hardwood or tiled floors? I have carpeting, but I'd rather have hardwood or laminate; I have terrible allergies and I feel like I do nothing but vacuum!

Wow, sounds like you a super busy woman for the day. You have to run so many appointments, and so many errands in one day. For me, I would be exhausted already. Anyway, you gotta do what you gotta do. If my work requires me to do so many things, and they will pay pretty good, I won't mind to do so. For meantime, I have to train myself to run the marathon.

Well, the first appointment was set up for me, but it turned out that I wasted my time because the recruiter for to let her know! So I arrived at stop #2 late and they were closed for lunch. Went back to the first place, then to the third and the fourth (since I was there), and finally attempted to go to stop #2 once more, but they closed early, so I'll be back first thing Tuesday morning to take care of it. It just was a long day because the appointments were spread out over a large area. When and where are you running in the marathon? That's a long run-the longest I ever did was a 10k run and that was in high school when I was already running competitively every day.

Oh my! What a busy day you had and you are such a serious multi-tasker! hahahah! I have had my early morning rush at home (it is noon at this time in our country). When I woke up this morning, I started doing the laundry, then I had to cook breakfast coz my kids are getting uptight if they can't eat right away, then in between those tasks, i was mopping the floor and still had time to respond to some mylot discussions. whew!

It's Saturday here too, although it's quarter to two in the morning! Silly me, I was drinking caffeine and now I can't sleep. I'd love to sit around tomorrow and do nothing, but I have to try and pin down my next door neighbor-he's going to fix our car and we'd like to get the parts tomorrow, if possible. A nap sounds like a marvelous idea-mind if I steal it? I think I'm going to need one, especially since I plan to spend Sunday outside at an event walking around. I hope you can get your haircut-is it a true cut, or just a trim?
