Question about Paranormal Activity.

This is more of a Paranormal Activity 2 question, rather than the new upcoming one. Anyway, I'm pretty convinced I once watched what I believe was "paranormal activity 2" but the weird part is, it had a totally different plot in it. The actors were not the same, the movie was different. It seemed like a whole different movie.
And then I watched the official paranormal activity 2, so I wonder, what was it that I had watched back then? Could it be a fan-made movie? Side story?
It was almost 3 years ago when I watched it and ever since I wonder. The only scene I remember is the girl hanging upside down from the ceiling covered in blood, which happened in none of the official paranormal activity movies.
I'm really lost. I hope somebody can clear this out for me, after 3 years..

It would make me easier to help you if you could give me the link of "the another" paranormal activity 2 - at least the cover of the movie . So I could say anything about it since I have watched paranormal activity movies from 1 to 3 .. (Japan edition was the worst )
And I couldn't wait for the 4th! =D

Wait a minute .. did you mean Tokyo Night ?
If it is Tokyo Night - then yes , it is another Paranormal Activity 2 movie , commissioned by Japanese. It is an another Paranormal Activity sequel since the movie was a huge hit in Japan.
But I wonder why it isn't listed on the official one as you said

It wasn't Japanese, it was in the English language. Sometimes I just wanna give up because I can barely remember anything but my curiosity kills me.
Anyway, thanks for the Japanese Paranormal activity, didn't even know it exists... I might watch it one day, with subtitles of course.

Omg.. I even haven't heard about it at all.
I found Tokyo Night on IMDB - so the movie you're talking about should be listed too on IMDb ..
I even more curious about it right now =D
