Thanks for the information friend. However, what is the procedure to get the registration with alexa and what is the amount they are going to charge us for providing such stats ? These information would of great importance for beginers. So if possible please share the same.

You don't register for Alexa, they find you automatically, like a search engine would. Just go to alexa.com and type in your websites name.

You may try http://www.supercounters.com/. Select the type of counting system you'd like to show and see on your blog. A HTML code will be generated. Put the same in your blog at the position you'd like to see it. From then on the counter will show the location, from which site the visitor has come from, etc. Good day!

I hope that it is free atleast to start with. I do not think that I would be able to spend money in the initial stages. Thanks for the information friend. I will try it at once. Keep your good work up please...!

Yes its absolutely free. I use 3 of their counting systems myself. You may visit my website and see them in action at the bottom of the home page. Good luck!

There are several places online where you can get free statistic reports if your blog doesn't have a lot of traffic. You sign up and they give you a counter in the form of a snippet of code which you place on your blog somewhere (near the bottom usually). Their software counts the traffic, shows where it comes from, how long they stay, what browser they're using and so on. As your blog grows, you will have to pay for the service, but it isn't much. There is a lot of information a stat counter gets that can be quite helpful.

Well initially we may not have good traffic but the initial information would be of great value and it would belp us to take future actions for promotion of our blog. So if the stat counter provide initial information then it would be great thing for the beginer. Once some earning has started coming, then it would not be difficult to pay some nominal amount as stated by you. However, if you are already using such counter, please post the name and other information so that I can explore it. Thanks for the response...!

You should be able to share your blog to different social networking sites to be able to spread it all over the virtual world. It is not enough to just let your blog sit and wait for visitors to pass by your site.

Yes. And you must have good number of contacts in social media groups. This is important especially when your contacts have similar subjects of interest as yours. In such cases they will keep visiting your blog for reading new contents.
