Dry mouth in the morning?

Has anyone got dry mouth in the morning? Every single morning I wake up with a severely dry mouth and an awful taste. It doesn't matter whether I drink one glass of water or 5 before sleep. It doesn't matter if I wash my teeth at night.I will wake up with a very dry mouth, accompanied by this nasty taste. If I drink water,it won't necessarily go away.I need to eat something in order for it to pass. Do you have dry mouth in the morning? What's your "cure" for it?

hi, there are times that i experience to have dry mouth in the morning and i need to find water to drink and to water my mouth, that is why we always have a glass of water inside of the room so that when we encounter that we have already glass of water near to us.

actually the only time I wake up with dry mouth, is when I take certain medications at night, I always wake with dry mouth and then I just brush my teeth..Drinking anything before I brush my teeth just seems so nasty to me...

I sometimes have a bit of dry mouth but not often. there is a condition out there that is severe and constant dry mouth without relief. I would say no soda's in the morning, honestly soda's dry your mouth out people just dont' realize that. Juices are much better, or milk. Water is okay but it's not working for you so you need something else.

I experience having a dry mouth and throat in the morning only after I had a night of brandy or any hard liquor. Some other times it happens to me too when I was tired and slept with my mouth open lol! If you're not a drinker, make sure you sleep with your mouth close cos that's the main reason why your mouth dries up.
