Many people of the Christian religion believe in circumcision and claim it is for religious reasons, that it makes you more pure. But the Bible actually speaks against altering your body. What are your thoughts on this?

The Bible speaks about circumcision and I think it was a covenant of God and His people during that time and God approved. While altering our body just for fashion and self satisfaction might not be in accordance with the will of God and might not be healthy for us.

Hello wilson and welcome to myLot. Circumcision is a sign of a convent or contract between God and his special people, the Hebrew or Jewish people. The covenant is told in Genesis 17. Circumcision is a sign of the agreement by hte children of Abraham. Other cultures of that time mutilated and tattooed their bodies as signs of grief. God didn't want people to do that.
