We have been getting some much needed rain off & on for the last two days.Wise me decided i might as well get a free car wash out of it, duh! I have backed my car out from under the carport 3 times thinking i would get one when it started to rain again, Three times it has quit as soon as i got back in the house.
. When i pull it back under the carpot& get in the house it comes another flood. DRATS, I give up!! would u??

And I thought that only things like this would happen to me! This is so funny. I think that I would have got o mad that I would have just left it out.
But I am glad that you got some rain to alleviate the drought. In the U.K. we have had nothing but rain so your food prices will increase because of drought and out here, the food prices will also raise because the crops were flooded out. We just can't win can we?

I have been fussing & a cussing for 2 days, lol. I was so thankful for the rain. It just wouldn't cooperate w/me.
. No doubt but what our food costs will go sky high both places. Sometimes it does seem like we can't win but i try to count my blessings when things like that happen & i have alot of them.Thanks for your response..

That's a good questio, lol. Have slept since then. We have had quite afew floods here the last few days but jackson is 60 mikes away & sometimes it doesn't even rain across town.

Wonder what would have happened if you had decided to just leave it out there instead of bringing it in each time? We here in WA state are hurting for rain. We are like on our 75th straight day without rain, and this is in the Seattle area. It is starting to get quite cold here, especially at night, but still no rain. We wish we would get some to help some of the many Forest fires.

Thanks for responding. Guess that's what i should have done but didn't want it to set out all night. We had a long dry spell to so know what u mean.It turned cold here over night but guess it's that time of the year. Hope y'all get rain soon. Happy weekend to u.

No, i would not give up. Three time is too few time for me to quit on that undertaking. You should try again for the sake of your dirty car, it really need some cleaning to put up a new facelift. Don't give up so easily, back out of your carport few more time, i am sure you will hit the jackpot soon, but do it only when you have every reason to believe the rain is on its way to your area paying a visit to you.

hi dear Antiquelady, our car is just parked in front of the house, no car port for us soooo we get that heavenly car wash anyways. I hope you got a bit more much needed rain by now. And I hope your health agrees with the weather you have where you are. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but we were away again last weekend to my husbands hometown celebrating a birthday. I'd leave it out all day & THE BIG RAIN CAME AT NIGHT.dIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE IT OUT AT NIGHT ESPECIALLY W/US HAVING TORNADO WATCHES. mY NEIGHBOR HAS GOT SOME BIG TREES & I DIDN'T WANT MY JEEP SQUASHED, that's all i'd need.Thanks for your response.

I wouldn't have bothered putting it back in the carport after the rain stopped, knowing it will probably rain again soon. Have a great day!
