I met mine at a bar!. But not the usual way. I love music and so intersted in kareoke. Well, this locael bar had kareoke night every tuesday. When you go up on stage, they always announce your name. So alot of people sort of get to know eaxh other. There was this one girl that went up so every tuesday so we said hi to each other but that was it. One day I walked in and a few people I knew were sitting at a table. She was there. We started talking and found out we had alot in common. A few years later we bouht a house and 11 yuears later, we're still together. So you never know. I think any place where you see each other all the time is the best. I'm not saying blind dates don't work. Or for that matter, any place where you try to meet someone. I didn't go there to try to meet someone, I went every tuesday to sing my favorite songs.

I can't tell you where I've met mine yet, but the relatives I know of who've met lasting loves met them (mostly) at work. Which makes sense because--when a man (or a woman, I guess) is at work, he is in the best frame of mind and you can observe him at his best (to see if there's room for YOU up there) and his worst (to see how he manages it). As my work is just 'having fun living life,' the only places I can think of to meet the opposite gender are the church I go to, the bank I go to, the store I go to, some of the restaurants I go to, the Karaoke-bar I go to, or the roads in-between (all leading back to my place or her's ... or her parents' or my mom's, or wherever).
