After my 8yo daughter, now it's my 4yo who's suffering from mouth sores or "singaw" Since yesterday she can't eat her meal, I am giving her soft food and lots of water/milk. I wonder where they get this, they usually brush their teeth at least twice/thrice a day. Their father always have this because he's smoking cigarettes, and then my 8yo daughter, but it's my daughter's first time to have this. and my heart breaks whenever she cries.

They said, it came from the core temperature of the body. This is really a very painful thing.

Hi. It is true that it is painful and as a mother, it is painful to see youu child cries because of this. You may want to let her see your pedia for her to prescribe antibiotics. My child was prescribed a certain antibiotics to kill the bacteria and after 2 consecutive in take my child was able to recover immediately. :)

Sometimes, my daughter also experiences it but it just disappears by itself without any medication. A few years back she had oral thrush. That was the worst, "singaw" all over her mouth. The doctor recommended bactidol to be gargled after meals, pyralvex to be applied 3x a day and high dose of vitamin C. Vitamin C protects, fights and promotes healing.

Have her gargle with a warm water with salt. It will easily dry up the sore. Although you may want to try Dequadin Paint or Pyralvex Solution. Both works for mouth sores.

Is that an actual photo of your daugther? I was thinking about stomatitis aphtousa , it could be cause by many reasons. The major thing that could happened in a child is because they need vitamin and mineral more that they have taken rite now - OR - it could be ulcus decubitus where it could be caused by a trauma that will make some injuries. But then I saw she has a lot of ulcus (more than 1 ulcus) , I think you should go to dentist who has a speciality in oral medicine / OM . They could identify which kinds of the ulcus that your daughter has

Maybe that's because of the hot weather? hot temperature is another cause for mouth sores.

hi dsw sometimes those come from not enough of certain vitaminn' and the best thing is to see your pediatrician and get some antibiotic as it so unds like bacterial infection and maybe even a stre pt throat which is extremely painful so get her to the doctor.

Don't you think it's thrush? Is her tongue also white and if you scrape the white stuff, it bleeds? An old time remedy for singaw is gentian violet, but she can also try gargling with bactidol.
