Every soul living on this earth feels emotions. Emotions whether it is of love, romance, jealousy or hatred know no boundaries. When a person experiences love in his life everything appears to be rosy to him. His outlook towards life becomes lively, positive and loving. He feels doing anything for his beloved to see her happy. Also, love inspires him to do something constructive in his life. The person feels that love is magical.
Whereas if someone is dealing with an emotion of hatred as a result of his unsuccessful love story his outlook towards people become revengeful. Even when someone shows him concern he reciprocates with rudeness. To him love is not magical rather it is a source of pain and sorrow.
The appearance of things changes according to our emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them or we see despair and repulsiveness in it.
I feel love is the strongest of all emotions, and it can either make you or break you.

Hi Inderjeet!
You are right that love leaves a great impact on our mind. Love could definitely break or make a person. However, love is not everything and life goes on even if some break up has taken place. Time is the great healer and with the passage of time people forget bitter events of their life.

Hello Deepak,
The emotion of love has been a very strong emotion since ages. People in love have experienced tremendous positive changes in them. Being in love motivates you to do something constructive in life. It empowers you leading you towards the right direction in life. Even today this emotion is the strongest one, but it has also become the most dangerous one.

Love is an immense emotion that if left unguarded and controlled, then surely one would go crazy in love, lol! Seriously, the effects should be mostly on the positive side, of improving oneself, of having inspiration and of making a difference, and not to deprive oneself of happiness from that emotion.

Yes, love has the power of changing you completely. It can either inspire and motivate you to become something in life or it can ruin your life. It can either transform a gentleman into a criminal or a criminal into a kind and a generous person.

Well, I agree with the emotions part but I have a little difference of opinion with the Love can make or break you.
Before I fell ill, I always had a lot of expectations. When they couldnt be met I felt broken. But during my illness, somehow, all expectations were gone. I had nothing to gain or lose. Then I started finding happiness in almost everything - even my illness etc.
I mention the above in support of my belief - it is not the Love which breaks anyone rather it is the expectations involved.

Expectations are one of the best remedies for a broken heart that's for sure.But if there is someone who loves you very much they will always give you expectations to become something more to the positive side.

I am doing good. How is your health now? You mentioned in one of your previous response to a discussion that you were not well. Rainy season has increased your pain.
Well, I agree that expectations when left unfulfilled do break us, but again we expect only from our loved ones...right? So love has its involvement here.

Love can make us happy and it can make us also cry.In life, love cannot always be perfect because of the things it can do or make us feel.We will fall in love to a wrong person and this can really break our hearts and the story ends.But when it breaks your heart,it is not the end of the world. We should take that a lesson and try to love again until you find the one for you.Remember that love is not perfect and you must learn your lesson positively.Love can make you a better person when you have faced and experienced a lot of things.

@blinjk - Exactly! Failure in love is not the end of life. Also, revenge is not the solution of your pain. But still people do not understand this. Life is such a beautiful gift which should not be wasted just because someone left you in the middle of the journey. For some love is a blessing and for some it is a curse.
@tocquevil - In class 8th I had read that we should accept both happiness and sadness equally in our life. Life without pain and sadness will never let you know what true happiness is. Every experience teaches us something good. We must look towards the positive side of the situation and learn to move on in life.

Yes, love can either make you or break you if you let it. If you let your emotions overtake you, you will often find yourself stressed about not accepting the events that have occurred. We might not always want to feel pain, but that's a chance you take with anything in life. With love, you enter a relationship with chances of either feeling happy for finding someone or feeling sad from a broken heart. We need to be more aware that bad things can happen, but dwelling on those bad moments will not solve anything. Love cannot overtake you if you learn to move on with your life. It may not be an easy path, but it needs to be done; otherwise, you will regret having your overactive emotions take control of you.

Love is the driving force of our life. We cannot imagine life without love (love of our family, friends, lover and near and dear ones). The strangest thing is that love is inversely related to every other emotion. As love decreases that emptiness is taken by hatred and revenge. It is so strange yet true in many cases.

Yes, I absolutely agree with you. Love is the most powerful feeling. It makes us a better person or a worse person. LOL. However, when something bad happens to our relationship, we have to evaluate ourselves. We don't have to be revengeful or be rude to other people. It's not their fault if we are having that terrible time of our life. We should still be thankful that some people are still there to care for us. Only one person left us, only one broke our heart. Life must still go on. Happy mylotting.

I really wish people could be this thoughtful! Failure in one relationship is not the end of life. But I guess this failure deeply breaks them down after which they don't even acknowledge other people's love and concern for them. Love undoubtedly is very very strong and therefore, people should handle it with utmost care.

i agree.. i had an experience like that.. Before i met my boyfriend, my life was such a dull place.. i mean, every day of my life before i met him was just very boring one.. Every actions i made and the way i see my environment was just very monotonous.. But when i met him and we got together, it was as if someone turned the lights on after a very long brown out.. it's not that i don't feel love to my friends and family, but maybe it's because i've been trying to find my other half that's why living a day was such a dread action for me...

Love is such a strong emotions that is can change a person completely. Whatever that we see in movies where people changed due to failed relationship, it happens in real life too. But the only difference is that we need to learn how to control our emotions. We should not let hate take over and be revengeful. It's not going to help us at all because the hate is still inside us.

Sometimes movies are based on real life stories and sometimes real life people take inspiration from movies. You are right, people should learn to control their emotions. Actually our outlook towards life forms according to our emotions. Failure of a relationship sometimes has such a terrible effect on people that it breaks them completely.
Nurturing the emotion of hatred and revenge is like holding a hot piece of iron in our own hand to throw it on the other person to hurt him/her. Still people do that...

Yes true Love can make you or break you . Because love is the one the most desirable emotion of human life . Not love love for a girl or a boy however love for your family , love for your motherland and so on . Some call its responsibility,patriotism etc but all these are kinds of love. People choose wrong ways to earn money if they are not able to fulfill their family desires . Some choose to sacrifice for their motherland and also as you explained what can happen in case of love for a girl or boy. However, there is one thing for sure , true love will never make you a bad human. Your feelings will always be good, doesn't matter what your actions would be .

your article is good. i 100 % agree with you.the love is the world's most beautiful feeling but it may cause serious drawbacks also because it is related to the pshycology also.i have seen people who are enjoying their lives because their lives are full of love but there are also many examples where people have ruined themselves due to failure in love.i think failure in love is not final.if you are failed then try again.atlast you will find rhe love which is most suitable to you.
