and he's our teacher in 2 subjects too. I do like his being strict- sicking to his rules and stuff but he is really making a lot of us suffer. His tests are not that hard, it is his scoring that makes some students fail. he says he's just training us for our future jobs.

Perhaps what teachers do it with truth so that the students can do the things that will be a future work. But it may also be the wrong way resulting in students upset

I guess your teacher is right. I've been in the same situation too. When I was in college, I had a professor that is really strict but still considerate. During the exam, he will give us really mind tickling tests to determine if we really studied our lessons. He does not want us to fail the test but as the term "test" it will let them know who really studied the lessons.

I can understand you, friend. There are always such teachers and poor you got him for two subjects. He's too strict so you need to make sure that you meet his expectation and I know its really tough for all of you to meet his demands.

Every teacher has a different idea on what is the best way to teach, he is teaching you a good lesson, because one you get out into industry, you have to get it right, 80% is no good you need 100% every time, ok this will be after a process of reviews and signoff by various other poeple in the know, butit has to be right. I can remember on teacher giving us 100% as a start mark and taking 3% off for every test our software failed, which we though was great until the first marks came back failing 300 tests giving a mark of -800%, but it taught us how to write code which did not break, it taught us to question the specification for clarity, and it taught us we could skip writing the test plan because he'd already done it for us, but 2 out of 3 aint bad :)

I have a teacher to who's really ruthless when it comes to teaching and giving exams.. She even had us study more than 30 diseases just to answer her quizzes.. So i can feel what you mean, too.. _____
