I was dreaming of cats; what does it means?

I was dreaming of cats as I held a cosplay convention in my dreams. This was held at our house in the 4th floor area, it was pretty weird because there were lots of cats in the room, on television, lying around on the floor, on the sofa, under the stairs and such. I had never taken care of cats before but my younger brother has and will always been obsessed with cats.
Is there a specific explanation with dreaming about cats? Can you tell me more about it? Thanks and happy mylotting.

Do you know what's weirder? It's eating lunch in a room full of cats. In Japan, they have this place where you get to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks in a roomful of cats and you're paying mostly for the ambiance--being with cats. 
At least you're cosplaying with cats.

Yeah, I know that. It was like somewhere in Japan. It's somewhat lolly place for me. Pretty cool place but good thing it didn't get hairy when you try to dine. LOL.

I don't know about the smell since I've never been there. And I don't know if the place and the food there is filled with cat fur. But considering how my grandmother's place is filled with cats and all those things mentioned above is true to her side--I'm willing to bet those Japanese did something to keep out the bad parts of being with cats. And yes, I am also sure that the place is all lolly and for cat lovers to appreciate.

Dream symbols can have many different meanings. It all depends on what that particular symbol may mean to the individual; what is happening in the individual's life; and what other dream symbols it is accompanied with. I keep a daily dream journal, and to help me get some ideas of what it may mean, I look up the symbols in a simple dream dictionary website called dreammoods.com.
I recommend that you go to this site and check out the entry for cat and also any other symbols you can remember in your dream, even the smallest detail can pack a big meaning. Right on the first page, on the left column you will see "Most common animal dreams" with "cats" being number 4.
Also, I recommend that you start keeping a dream journal. This will help you to remember your dreams better and it will help stop nightmares and allow you to receive the messages that your subconscious is putting out for you.

I do love cats but I didn't keep one as the house that we have can't keep any pets at the moment and as of this point, I can't keep one due to my hectic schedule and lifestyle. LOL.
But it was a nice dream though, I didn't expect to get 50-something plus cats in one room as I held a cosplay event. And yes, you did gave me a good idea back there. It could be cosplay related. LOL.

Since you're cosplaying in your dream, another symbol you may want to look into is costume, and other stuff like that. The type of building you're in, etc.

What a strange dream. I love cats. It sounds like a dream I might have. I have been reading about cat dreams. A group of cats (like in your dream) signifies a group of women. I also read that dreams of cats can have different meanings. Dreaming of many cats could mean (according to one source) that you have secret and hidden enemies. I wouldn't let that bother me. we all have somebody bthat doesn't like us. And NailTech remembers correctly that it has something to do with sexuality as well. Also, some dream "experts" say it depends on how you feel about cats. And your dream could mean that you may want to, or should, further your spiritual growth. I don't put a lot of stock in dream interpretations, although I do have a book on it. But it was a gift.
