Scared of cockroaches

that is kind of freaking when a cockroach flies towards you. i feel the same way but i am not that scared of cockroaches, i just try to step on them or smash them when i see them. they are just kind of gross when they can crawl and touch on your skin. but some people can be really scared of cockroaches. they over react when they see one,..

I am not really totally scared of cockroaches. I just think they're soo yucky and icky I don't want to be near them. Whenever I see cockroaches, I just feel like I want to kill them brutally but when they're flying, it makes me want to just run away, haha! I think flying cockroaches are really the worst.

I have only seen a cockroach one time. My biology teacher had a hissing cockroach as a pet. Around here they are not common. The only people who have cockroaches are the ones living in filth. A friend on facebook just posted that her son spent the night at a friends house and came home crying that something had crawled in his ear. She took him to the er and they flushed his ear out 6 times but they couldnt get it out. She had to take him to an ent who got it out in pieces. They identified it as a cockroach.

I'm more hateful than scared of cockroaches, to be honest, especially when they fly! I agree, it just freaks me out when I feel their legs on my skin. I feel like scrubbing my skin with bleach afterwards, it's that gross. Even killing them is disgusting. Their guts come out and make a mess on the floor.

Cockroaches are for me one of the most hideous bugs! I found one walking in my room a couple of weeks ago and I drowned it with Raid. I`m not sure that the liquid does anything to those creatures, but the amount was fatal.

Oh my. You must be very brave to kill it by yourself. I, myself can't do that. I chill everytime I tried to. How do you do that? I'm scared of cockroaches since I was young. Specially the one who flies and so maroon. I hate them. I even ask God why do cockroaches exist. But ofcourse, they are part of the eco system. But still, there are questions in my head why? why? why? But I won't do anything to conquer my fear. My boyfriend told me that one of these days, he will try to leave me in a room full of cockroaches. He told me to conquer my fear towards that insect. I say, hell no!! There's no way the cockroach will touch my skin. Not even my hair. But there was one time when the cockroach flew from my head. I almost die!

I hate flying bugs the most, I can't really see them fast enough to identify them and I hate being bit or stung.

I'm not scared of cockroach but on impulse when I see one is to killed them. It's one of the dirtiest insect that could transmit diseases, so if it's possible eliminate them whenever you see one.

i find cockroaches very nasty and i feel more unpleasant than afraid whenever i see one. hence if i see one i won't stop until its killed and if i can't do it i let someone usually my son do it.

I have not seen cockroaches since my college years : I had one year a bedroom with large cockroaches, and I was disgusted by them, not scared. I never managed to destroy them completely.

i think the brown color and the antenna of cockroaches and the scary structure make us scared. sometimes i m also scared of them, u know when they fly at u. anyways cheers.

Hi, I am not scared of cockroaches but I hate cockroaches. I get annoyed when I see cockroach in our house. It is very dirty creature.

i dont understand too, many are afraid of those poor creatures, even when they dont bite and cause no harm, but still people ,hmm, i feel really strange.

You're not the only one. I'm also freakingly scared of flying cockroaches in any shape or size. I am actually wary of creepy crawlers but I think I fear the roach most of all because of its tendency to bite you and even make you sick.
