as a previous career woman but now a full-time housewife, I've been wanting to kill the boredom I am experiencing everyday. after mylotting, I thought of enrolling myself to livelihood training offered by our Barangay. Anyway, I do love arts and crafts and hopefully to get additional knowledge and techniques in beading. the good thing about this training offered by our barangay are: 1. it is tesda accredited 2. no fees to be collected..totally free 3. only once a week and 2 hours per session only 3. with graduation and certification after this, i still want to attend more but of course still wants a free lesson. do you know of other training offered for free?

i'm interested in attending tesda trainings like the ones you've mentioned here particularly about beading. problem is i don't know of one near our place. how i wish our barangay would also sponsor a similar project.

try to log-on http://www.tlrc.com.ph. this is the site of technology and livelihood her in our country. you may check the community near you that offers trainings. though it has certain fees for the materials. in fairness to our mayor, it is among his platform in his service to us pasiguenos. his first lady handles this livelihood trainings.

That's a wonderful opportunity. I don't know any other free opportunities like those given by tesda. They also offer massage therapy training. I don't have the time to attend these trainings offered by tesda. So I usually learn online.

That is a good wau of making your sparetime become productive. I am not onto arts and crafts too much but if given a project, i try to make it real look good. i have slso been thinking of ways on how to earn extra. just recently i bought a pair of "thongs", or flip flops as some would say but they are not made up rubber. The straps were braided in silver color. it was inexpensive that's why i bought it. Thdn i remembered i bought some jeweled beads more than a month ago. Wajt i did was i sew the beads on the strap. i was so happy looking at my work. then i thought of maybe someday if i have the extra money , i would buy several pairs and sell it online.

You can also try to study online for free, just search a free course of how to be an SEO/link builder or any office applications that are used by virtual assistants because these are what virtual employers' requirements if they want to hire a v.a. then you can work at home and be called a work at home mom (wahm).

Those programs are indeed intended for the moms at home who would like to earn extra income without having to leave the kids behind. It's great that you found yourself a great pasttime activity. I think you could always ask your local barangay as to the livelihood programs that they could offer. :)

TESDA always offers courses for free, both short and long term programs. Livelihood training is a good start in developing our skills and make a living.

That's the best way to spend your extra time. to do something you love and at the same time earn from it. You can also check some craft making, dress making, cooking and baking etc on line. I'm into cross stitching, but only during may free time since i'm still working and doesn't have a maid at home, though i have a someone to do our laundry and ironing on a weekly basis. It's a good way to relieve stress, specially if you see that you've finished something beautiful.
