I have noticed that old songs have better lyrics

they don't contain too many profanity and sensual words that would arose your thoughts and sometimes they have more positive lyrics. Songs like "you'll never walk alone". But songs now have many negative and discouraging lyrics if you would listen too it that it would compound the sadness that you are feeling.

This is vet true. My mom used to say, the songs of their times have more substance. I used to get annoyed by that comment but come to think of it,most of my favorite songs are revival of the old songs. The old songs soothes your feeling and makes one feel relax. There are very few songs that can compare or match old songs and sad to say, some are just patterned to old songs we like.

I do agree with you. I love those classics more than the latest ones. Those old songs are very relaxing and soothing while the latest ones are noisy and sometimes very inappropriate in its contents. Till now, if I have some free time I chose to listen to classic songs and have a great time.
