Oh, this breed of dog always wakes me up in the morning. It's often left behind by the owner. The owner of this pug is occupying the room next to ours. This dog has the habit of scratching the door or the wall between our rooms. It's so noisy. I hope our landlady won't accept tenants with pets. They are quite annoying. It's okay if they are always around to tend to their pet's needs. Just sharing. Happy mylotting everyone.

Hey i can understand what u must be feeling when someone unintentionally wakes u up everyday. Most of us get irritated when we are not able to complete our sleep in the morning and then we start nagging the whole day. especially the noisy dogs or animals in the morning are the ones who wake us up quite frequently in the morning. Care should be taken to take these animals to those places in the morning like for a morning jog so that they wont interfere with the sleep of other people. What say?

@subhojit10:You're right. The owner should accompany her pet outside and enjoy walking with it. I don't nag but I have a headache. I hope it won't get noisy in the morning anymore. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting. Sorry for the late reply.

@ravisivan: Train? Oh my. I can't get sleep if I live near a train railway. I can't last a week maybe. LOL. But for some people, they might become used to it. Thanks for sharing.

subhojit a thought comes to my mind. a relative of mind shifted his residence to a flat nearer to railway line in chennai. yes. every ten minutes local train will be running on the adjacent track. Initially he was finding it difficult. nowadays he cannot sleep without the noise of trains. that way after some time we may get used to it.

angelkarah yes it is really bothersome to be in such a situation. there are two options --1) if we can change the surroundings we should change -- it will not be possible. 2) accept what is given--this is the possible way --3) suggest landlady to advise them not to have pets in the house but keep it separately.

We just moved last August 25th. I haven't seen this dog that time and the room was still unoccupied. Maybe, she just moved too. Yes, I will try to talk to my landlady soon. Happy mylotting.

so nice of you to have responded immediately. great. try. you will succeed. incidentally I appreciate you for starting more and more discussions at the same time one after the other, I have to choose one or two among the group you are posting. I think you enjoy starting more discussions. good. I find it difficult to start one or two per day and also manage its responses .

oh poor pug.. was blamed for the irresponsible owners! hmp. I have a pug and its really very nice and sweet. it was not noisy and does not bark unless there was some threat or if you are playing with it as if trying to scare him. hehe pugs are really cute and cuddly and sweet animals. they are vey sensitive but playful. :D

@chiyosan: Yes, poor pug. I actually want to take care of it. It's locked in the room with the lights on. Maybe it feels bored inside.

I agree with you chiyosan, the owner needs to pay more attention to the dog. We have a mix of Boxer and Rotwieler dog, and she too, only barks if there is a threat. I would talk to the landlady or speak with the owner of the dog or even call animal control. It's difficult to have a dog in town, unless it's properly trained.

Hello there. Oh, this kind of dog is really cute. I just like its appearance and face. Maybe that dog that stays next to your room is hungry or it wanted to go out that's why it keeps on scratching the door or wall. I could imagine the noise it might create. I hope that the owner should be responsible enough to take care of that cute dog. I couldn't imagine it just staying inside a room just waiting for the owner to arrive. I just hope the owner would also feed it before leaving the house so it wouldn't be too hungry. Maybe your landlady isn't so strict because it's just okay with her to have some tenants with pets. I just hope you could still get your sleep when you are awakened by the sound of the dog next to your room. Happy myLotting. :)

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, i am not interested in pets, already i have 2 sons and they are my pets. As you mentioned you don't have the ability to sleep peacefully in the night time, it is not an easy thing.

Oh, your 2 sons are your pets. LOL. Yes, it's really hard to get some sleep especially with the noisy housemates too. Good you don't have any pet yet. Maybe your children will ask you someday to have one. :)
