Book Sale!

I have finally decided that since I have a Kindle Fire now, and do almost all of my reading there, I am going to have a Book Sale! I probably have over 100 books. I will sell them from $0.50-$8.00. Some of them are brand new. I hate to sell them for less than I paid for them, since I haven't read them. On the other hand, they're not doing anyone any good, collecting dust on my book shelf. Do you have a Kindle or other e-reader? Do you still read paper backs and hard backs? Do you think people would pay $8.00 for a brand new hard back at a book sale, or should I find another way to sell those, such as online?

There are alot of places online that you can look that will buy books. I sold alot of my college books online and it helped too as i was unemployed and needed the money. All you need is the ISBN numbers on the books and the websites will ask you for them and they will tell you if they are taking that book or not at the moment. You type in the quality of the book and then you send it in the mail as they give you a paid postage in your email you print it but in on a box and then a couple weeks later you can have money in your paypal account or they will send you a check. It is really easy and good to use too and its good to see if they will take the books you are selling as well and i hope they are.

Don't have kindle but been using ipad for a long time now. I have a collection of books there too but I've missed reading on a real paper that I've started buying books again. It feels different holding a real book than just an electronic gadget. I love the smell of books too.

The Kindle Fire is actually really good, and many of my friends swear by it. I have the Nook, but I might also get the Kindle Fire. I have a lot of books at my house as well, but I find it hard to part with any of them. I might have to sell some of them one of these days, but I love my books.

well i know that the used book store that my mom goes to will not even take hard cover books because no one wants (i guess because they take up too much space). i am planning on getting an ereader but not sure which one. i will still get books but i always get my books from the library. i never buy them. there is a site that will buy books according to the isbn number but i am not sure what the site is. it will take some detective work on your part.

I wouldn't personally pay $8.00 for a brand new hardback book at a book sale, but that is simply because of the fact that I'm the kind of person that has a strong preference to have paperback books. With that said, I do believe that there are a lot of people that would be willing to pay that much for a hardback book because of the fact that as much as I love to have a paperback book would swing very far the other way and would rather have hardback books. And $8.00 is a great price for a brand new hardback book.
