Hide N Seek as a Child...Where Did you Hide?

One of my favorite "games" to play as a child was "hide n seek", my sisters and I would play this for hours and never get bored. My favorite spot to hide, was in the corn field behind our house, they would take a long time to find me and I loved the feeling of anticipation as I sat there and waited to be found. Did you play hide n seek as a kid? Did you have a favorite hiding place? Thanks in advance for sharing.

When playing inside the house,I used to hide behind the cabinet.
During hide and side outdoor, I used to hide in trees or in thick bushes.

I think every child loves playing hide and seek. One place I like to hide myself is inside the closet. My brother would have a hard time looking for me every time.

One of my favorite games as a chid was hide and seek. Under my bed and in my bedroom closet where always first choices to hide unless I was outside then, i hose the garage. It had the beat hiding places of all. @courtknee525 (3742)

I remember one time when I was either 4 or 5 I hid from my mom. It was at the point when the sun was setting and starting to get a little dark. I don't know what made me hide from her but I decided to hide under the slide in my backyard. She ran past me so many times and I remember giggling a little after she went by yelling my name. I stayed hidden for a really long time and I scared the life out of my mom because she thought someone took me. I don't really remember what happened after she found me though lol all I remember is being under the slide.

Anywhere in the neighborhood, cars, roofs, yards, plants. We used to play with all the kids from near by houses.

In my childhood i also enjoyed this game a lot,i used to hide behind the top of door,that was my favourite place as everyone usually see behind door but downwards on ground and i used to climb on the door.hehehe and also behind the cloths rack.

I play hide n seek as a kid :) Yes, I do have favorite hiding place so that they cannot easily find were I am. .My favorite place to hide was in the room inside the cabinet :D

"Hide and seek" was one of the games I remember playing with friends at pre-school and kindergarten. For the most part, it was fun hiding outside because there were so many hiding places. I would hide in bushes, behind trees, underneath the playground's slide, and sometimes behind the dumpster. During those simpler times, every day was a carefree, fun day because playing with friends always kept me always forgetting about bad things that happened that day.
