Is it possible to find trustworthy friends in online.If yes how can we know who is good one and who we can't trust

I think it is quite hard to know who can be true friends here online for some. Coz we know that people can easily pretend who they really are. But I have found someone online that I have been friends with for 2 years now. Met that person only once personally. We used to work online under a Filipino-managed outsourcing company. WE no longer work on that company but we have remained in constant communication till now.

you are lucky that you can find one good friend but some people used to cheat others in online,even they wouldn't put their true names as display names.How can we trust them

That is so true! coz these kind of people are using the internet in the wrong way. They are really not into looking for real friends but rathet looking for plain childish fun.

Hello prasadhari! I believe not all people are true on what they are saying or posting online. Some fool people to earn more, some gets fooled as well.
We don't know who we are talking to unless they want to reveal the real them outside of this site or offline. You will know a person if you spent most of times with them or have seen them personally. sometimes, what we see online maybe different offline.
So, most of the time, it's hard to tell.
But I do have gained friends in here that I find sweet and true people and I have talked to them outside this site and even called them personally.
It's good to have friends online cause we can share anything to them. unless they are really trustworthy.

What sites do you have than mylot?
I believe you can find true friends in here if you stay long and interact a lot.
You are just a newbie here, I can see in your number. If you participate more, you'll get to know more people in here and be able to find real good friends.

I think your expectations are very high.finding good and trustworthy friends is itself very difficult and that too online,its next to impossible for me.i mean you can enjoy chating,share experiences here but trust upon someone without being met is difficult for me.we often find good people online,chat freely but do maintain some distance.beware and behappy.

Hey do you know there are some cases where two people(m & f) met online and there relationship went up to marriage also.There are some good people out there .We can make some good friends online.But it is up to us to find who is trustworthy.

yes, i think it is still possible to make and have a good friend online, but it takes time to finally label a person "good friend" since you haven't met or see them in person, but you can know a person by your conversation, you can still feel their sincerity with their advices and comments in certain issues :). i have 0ne trustworthy online friend whom i met only once in a workshop, shes been a constant adviser with my online business and she checks on my works from time to time, criticizes me in a good way on how can i improve my work.. so i can say it is possible :)

I'm a firm believer that we attract to us who we are and what we are thinking about. If we are honest and trustworthy and believe that we surround ourselves with like minded people, that is who we will attract. If we fear attracting people we can't trust, then guess what? That is what we will attract.
