Let me ask you this, "What do you usually put at your bedside? or hold on before taking a nap?" When I was a child, I used to hug my hotdog pillow. In high school, listen to favorite music in a walkman. Books and notebooks were laid under the pillow in College days. Now, mobile phone is always next to my pillow. I found the manner so weird lately. The mere fact, I don't entertain calls or text messages at night. Perhaps, I got used to it. Even my grandma would continouosly give her piece of advice, to put a rosary at my side. Do you do the same habit?

I sort of remember holding on to a teddy bear or something when I was a small child. But I now always take my phone to bed. I love my iPhone and never go anywhere without it. And when I get myself an iPad I am sure I will take that everywhere with me as well.

whenever i sleep alone... bed occupants would be my laptop, mobile fone and i. i tend to doze off after doing some work on my laptop or visiting a few sites and doing my emails. my mobile fone also acts as my music player to lull me to sleep and set to alarm in the morning for my wake-up call. so i guess they are my bed buddies. however if the bf is around, my bed buddies would have to settle for a desk near the bed. a few years back, i had my huge teddy bear and butterfly pillow with me on my bed. but since i worked from home, my butterfly pillow stayed at my home office while my teddy bear moved into another bedroom where my young nephews and nieces could play with him.

For almost as long as I can remember, there has always been one thing that is on my bedside table and that one thing is the book that I'm reading at the time. I read a little bit every night before I fall asleep. However, I will admit that I do keep my mobile phone on my bedside table as well. The first reason for that is because of the fact that someone important could call at any time. In addition to that, I will admit that I do use my mobile phone as my alarm clock as well.

Shhh! I must admit, I also keep with me my cellphone while sleeping. It serves as an alarm clock and sometimes I would still log in to myLot before going to sleep. But when I am at home, I seldom uses my cellphone so there are times I would just have to look for it when I have to return to my place of assignment.

I always sleep with my phone under my pillow.. Sometimes on vibrate.. Other nights when I'm extremely exhausted and don't wanna be bothered, I put it on silent. I listen to my music before I go to sleep each night too. I also almost always have something to drink at my bedside. Its been that way since I was a toddler.

I don't like things next to me in bed. All like to have at the bedside is a lamp on my night stand. I go to bed to get away from everything.

I put my cell phone next to my pillow every time I sleep! Lol. I agree to you that it kinds of funny. I like to look at my phone, typing something crosses my mind (mostly draft of the book I am working on), or just looking at twitter until I fall asleep. Sometimes, I listen to music from my cell phone as well. I wake up every morning, looking at time on my cell phone and checking out my cell phone too before I go to sleep every night. So yeah, my cell phone is my very best mate! ^.^

Yep,, totally! I have two smartphones next to me, including my ipad. They are the last things I tinker before going to sleep. Phones are good alarm clocks too, but I don't do that. My friend from another side of the world is waking me up every morning with his messages. I don't think it's alarming as most people have finally adapted this habit because they use their phones as alarm clocks too.

Hello, I usually put a teddy bear and a glass of water beside my bed. Sometimes at night I suddenly get up and then I need to drink some water. But you know keep your mobile phone next to you is very harmful for your body. I read a newspaper regarding that. and also I heard a radio interview regarding that. As long years after it will happen to break your brain transactions. There are lots of rays are producing through a mobile phone. so Its very bad habbit I never put my mobile phone beside my pillow.

Actually when I am sleeping at night, my mobile phone is just besides my pillow. The mobile signal will be turned off at 11:30pm and it will be turned on at 7:30am automatically. So I will not have to be afraid that its radiation will be harmful for me since it's off when I am sleeping. I put it besides me because my mobile phone works like an alarm clock for me. I make sure it can wake me up next morning. I love China

Mobile. It is fatal or dangerous to keep beside you at night. Science says. So, usually i keep books or newspaper coz until i get sleepy, i read either book or papers, so i just keep it beside to me and get sleep. And a pillow is a certain item to me. I just embrace it at night. Have a nice time.

Hi, Oh yeah... i do put the mobile near me so that i can wake up on time when the alarm rings in the morning hours... If there is any day where i am not required to get up at my usual time and get some more time in bed then i don't keep the alarm on that day. The habit is not good but try switching it off once a while, you will love the peace of 'no mobile zone'(oops! bed)

Yes, mobile phone occupies my bedside desk lol! My husband doesn't mind because it's the same for him lol! We both have Blackberry and both of these goes immediately within our reach from our bed. It serves as alarm clock, timer, a quick connection to the outside world during emergencies, and etc.
