I learn pretty easy if someone will show me how to do something I can usually do it myself. I learned from this woman that I buy farm fresh eggs from that if you boil the eggs and as soon as they are done put them in ice water and the shell comes off so much easier! Did you know this? I think my lot should have a place to start a discussion on just tips! What do you think? Tell me your tips not just on cooking, any tips will be greatly apreciated ! thanks for all your help!

I agree with you. It`s easy to learn if we are taught how. I wish there was a course in internet about how to use several of the new changes in computers. I remember that years ago, I used msn a lot and I had lots of emoticons. Those disappeared in a later download. THe same thing happens to software that gets obsolete. But the data is still important and we want to keep it. I learned to cook many decades ago and recipes and tips helped me a lot.

I also have my ways of getting help too. I look for knowledge at the web a lot and it is so easy! I haven`t really tried to see how shoulkd I use the new printer my daughter gave me. It had scanner AND a way of making photocopies. Too many things for me.

Hi Marguicha. There may not be a course on the net don't know but anything you want to know all you have to do is type what questions you have in the address bar and it will take you to millions of pages that can answer your questions. That is how I learned to do a lot of things from the net. I learned how to cook from all of my ex's....LOL I have been lucky most of them knew how to cook better then myself. And from that I learned. My first ex taught me how to make biscuits. Sorry about the late reply but had computer problems got them fixed thank God!

Yes I did know this but I also add salt to the boiling water. The tips idea would be great for mylot. Well one tip I have is if you have faucets that after cleaning them end up with soapscum on them; the white spots all over it. What I do is clean them first then I take a cotton ball and soak it with some baby oil. Then I wipe the faucets with that cotton ball and it keeps it shiny looking. Also the water will bead off of it. They say to keep mosquitoes away from you to keep a dryer sheet in your pocket. I have tried it and it seems to work so far.

No problem I understand we all go through having computer problems from time to time. I have another tip even though bugs don't seem to bother you. I heard that we should not eat bananas during mosquitoe season. It has something to do with the scent of the banana. Unlucky for me mosquitoes are here year round in Puerto Rico and I love bananas.

Hi Asliah. Sorry about the late response computer problems. I like learning that is why I brought my first computer to learn things. I love knowing how to do things. I read one of the responses here and she said to put salt in the water before you boil your eggs. Going to try it next time I have to boil eggs. Have a good day!

hi dear free_man, you dont need ice water but cool running tap water will do the trick as well.
Other household hints is using vinegar in your dishwashing water as it makes the cutlery nice and shiny and the good dishes too....... LOL
