My Best friend cried as I ended my 7-year fanfiction novel entirely.

She was so sad, I never thought of that as I ended my fanfiction novel to a bitter-sweet end. I didn't expect that reaction as me and my friend has an anime marathon last Friday. We have lots of laughs and such, like the usual Friday nights should be... and good griefs, Fridays just fine for me as a rest days to bond with them. For those who have followed my posts before about my fanfiction; taken from Hunter X Hunter fame and lots of anime mash up but with their own character's realm; I am now ending it up and now rewriting with the same story plot but this time, as for what one of the fans of the novel told me; I should write it all over with a different character name. One of my friends offered to get the idea so he can make a manga out of it and we agreed for a proper consignment and copywrite memo about it. And then finally; I ended the novel with a great Big Bang. As I told her the summary of the last chapter, she cried; asking me; "Don't crumble Ohieyuu for me" Ohieyuu was the name of the country/ land owned by a great heiress of a small but one of the most powerful family of Hunters. "I feels so bad not being able to have the protagonist in a good ending." and then cried more. I LOL. I never thought that one of my followers of the novel I'm writing right now would seriously feel bad about it. Would you rewrite the ending if you had a feedback like this? If you're going to ask me, no; that's final. You can check it out as we work on that one right now here locally. I just want to hear your feedback, too. Let me know what's on your mind if you've heard one of your fans complaining about your novel's ending. Thanks and happy mylotting.

Hello curapika, my daughter has also written a short novel, and I was typing it to her. As the novel was ending I also cried. Some tears came out of my eyes, and I asked her to give a nice end to the main character. She heard my advice, and her novel was a success. Since life is a play of drama I didn“t like more drama in her novel . I`d suggest to hear your friend`s feedback!! Blessings... resy!... dainy

Thank you so much, Dainy. I thought that it was weird for my friend to cried and complain, I even thought I was such a bad writer for giving my novel a sadistic end. My best friend got attached to those characters and their role that they're playing throughout the story and I guess that made her broke her heart when she found out how it ends. But my other friend said, that might be a tragic end but how you move reader's heart as it end will denoted how good the story is. Once there's an attachment to it; it never fails a reader to read more. I don't know. Now I'm confused. LOL. Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. It's good to know that your daughter is also a writer and you're supporting her hobbies and talents. Happy mylotting :D

For me don't do any changes. It's your work and you're the writer. It may be a negative feedback from her but it may not be from others. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Thank you so much for your feedback. I want to keep my original story line that way but I'm going to change the name of characters to avoid confusion with Hunter x Hunter's concepts and copy write thingy. LOL ^_^-) A team of manga artists are now working on my story right now, lay outs and such. This might be a bit taskful, since I know at heart, too that they have to internalize story plots and capture the best way to project a certain scene in the story. For the reproduction, well; heck... that's going to take months according to the publisher as the boss also fell in love with the novel, too. My best friend was the one holding me back not to post it in any form online **except for some scenes as it may serve as a teaser or a promotional value online** so no one can get the concept.

Thanks for giving me your feedback, Sweetlove. My other friend convinced me to keep working on another one now that it was brought to a bitter-sweet end. He said; "don't stop doing the things you love. If you want to make tearjerker novel then keep on doing so as long as you're moving hearts along with your novel. That makes your works great." Then he's now working on making the manga or comic version of it locally. Hope it gets finished at the end of the next year. It may takes months as it runs in 27 volumes and right now we're working on a better character names since we can't use the names of Hunter x Hunter for us to work and produce on it independently. Thanks and looking forward for more thoughts from you. Happy mylotting :D

Thanks for sharing your experiences with your friend. I just find it weird at first but I never thought my other friend would applaud me for making my best friend cried for ending my novel in a worst case possible. LOL. You're also making fanfictions from Harry Potter fame? Great. Love to read more from you about it. I'll be looking forward to hear more about it, too. Thanks and happy mylotting.
