Macy's Preview Sales

A friend of mine went to a Macy's preview sale the other day (Thursday). It's where you have to pay ahead of time and then pick it up the day of the actual sale which was yesterday (Saturday) but she forgot to pick it up so she will go today as it's still on I believe (the sale). Have you ever been to a Macy's sale like that? Would that be convenient for you? What if the price was very very reasonable and you really wanted the item(s)? She bought a few Christmas gifts for her grand daughters. Do you know of any other store that has these types of sales?

Never heard of a preview sale where you can purchase sale items ahead of the sale date and pick them up at the store. This would save some money if there were more like this. Then again not sure if I would do it unless it was an item that you didn't want to check out yourself. When I buy clothes I check for tears, stains and sewing errors. You can't do that this way, unless when you check the item at pick up time they will get another if there is something wrong with it. Although you probably don't have to worry too much at Macy's.

Me neither before this time. She found one though. I think she checked it out before she bought the things, not sure though.

I've never been on these continents. but I think that one in every country in every city there is one such place where there is a market and things are cheaper than other shops or markets. we just have to be there at the right time and everything is fine. nice day!

Yes, I think Bulgaria doesn't have a Macy's yet. I have not been there too often, I like other stores better. I find things I like at cheaper prices and I'm happy with it. I just wondered if anyone else has used this type of sale before. I was curious. Have a wonderful day too.

No I've never been to a sale like that. Macy's is new to our area but still not close enough to me that I would go out of my way to go there.

The closest one here is in the Mall I believe. I have only been there a few times. Not that interested in it otherwise when I can find cheaper nicer stuff elsewhere.

I don't find the idea of a preview sale so innovative. If you order something from the internet , you pay for it with PayPal and the product comes to you some days later with the delivery system. You look in the website's catalog , you choose what you want , you read information and see pictures ... Isn't it the same as a preview sale ?

I suppose you can say that. I have just ordered something online as a matter of fact that I "previewed" and I hope it comes in by the end of the week.

I've never heard of that before, did she just order the items, or they set it aside?. I guess if it's a good deal, and you save some money I would.

I think she went there to order it not sure, she only told me about it. I didn't ask any questions. Guess I should have. She probably found some good deals.
