People should observed proper disposal plus not to use plastics.

Good day Fellow Mylotters,
Just a quick one, a while ago, I was watching a show that discusses about plastic. Now a days, plastic has been started to be abolished as these materials causes a lot of hazards. Especially, it hinders the flow of water in the drainage which causes heavy floods among different places. As a result, a lot of campaigns are being flash to avoid the use of plastics. Granted that the use of plastics are abolish and remove, but this is not an enough assurance that there will be no flood anymore. Hence, people should observe a strict discipline in disposing garbage. If the people will stick on the proper disposal of garbage plus follow orders in not using plastics, perhaps, a good result will achieve.

Hi airasheila! Yes these laws will not be enough if we will not cooperate. We should start the change from ourselves. Discipline should be inherent to each and everyone of us. We should do our part in order to achieve the objective and goals that we hope for. That is to avoid further damage to our environment.

that is true,people don't dispose there plastic after they used it so that it will affect some of our drainage that always cause of massive floods in the rainy season,this ordinance should implement nationwide because there are still cities who still use plastics.

More than 1 billion plastic bags are used globally every year and are affecting a global epidemic. For example manufacturing works around the world whipped out a whopping 3 trillion of them, ranging from huge trash bags to heavy shopping carts to light grocery sacks. Drawbacks of plastic bags is that it can last up to a 1000 years in a landfill and destroy up to one million sea creatures every year, such as animals, whales, birds, sea creatures and others and number of aquatic mammals that die each year because of eating or being tangle in plastic is predictable at 100,000 in the north pacific ocean alone. So people must ponder appropriately cooperate to lessen the use of plastic bags and lastly stop using it. So that we can protect our environment, animals, life and environment.

that is true,they cant litter around everywhere just like that and spoil the environment,they must be disposed carefully so that they dont degrade and cause side impacts of the world

It is a good goal for us to reach if we can do these things you mention. If you can do this and all of us could, our world would be a lot different. Now it is just getting individuals to follow these rules. As a whole if we reach the individuals we will be closer to the goal we'd like.

Hi Aira, I watched that show also and I'm in favor of plastic recycling wherein bringing your plastic or buyi ng plastic for php10.00 so that people will be used of keeping / saving their plastics to be used again. hope this law will be strictly imposed , for the good of the people and saving our mother earth.
