When your dream was already attained, do you dream another dream?

So recently I was able to achieve one of my goal in life which I consider a big dream for me. My work got published at a local architectural digest here in our area. I was so excited when I learned from the editor that the article will be published this month. I've been working hard on my writing in the hope of being published one day. Now it already happened. Then suddenly I thought that's just it?
Then one day I was listening to a podcast by Pastor Joel Osteen when he mentioned that "When your dream dies, dream another dream." and it hit me. I have met one goal and I guess it is now time for me to set another goal for myself. Now, I am praying that one day, one of my favorite magazines will offer me a job as their writer or even better, editor. I know I have hard work to do, but the point is, I am now dreaming another dream.
How about you? Do you dream another dream or set another goal once you achieved the first goals you have set for yourselves? I would love to know your stories

Congrats on getting your'e work published, keep on working and you'll definitely get noticed by the public cause you've already achieved the first step which is always the hardest. Actually I have a string of dreams I want to achieve that some people tell me I'm too much of a dreamer , my favorite quote that they told me is "those who aim too high too fast fall hard". But I still want to give my dreams a shot I'll worry about braking my back afterwards. :)

My one dream is fulfilled and that is to have a dream home. Now I have another dream and that is work towards setting up state-of-the-art homes for seniors. Not easy but not impossible either, hopefully!

Actually I have a lot of dreams but unfortunately, I'm stuck where I am now. I don't know where to start. Maybe, I'm still satisfied with my job now. I know there are many jobs out there offering greener pastures but I don't have the confidence to risk my job right now. If only I have enough savings or someone would back me up if my plans don't work successfully. I'm glad you were able to achieve one of your dreams. Don't stop dreaming. I hope you will fulfill all your dreams in the future. Happy mylotting.

Hmnn, in my humble opinion. There's nothing wrong with people dreaming another dream after accomplishing their first. I think that's what people are made of. We are naturally born with no contentment feature. Like in my case, I just passed the board exam last June and yet I feel like I want more to achieve,more to accomplish, more to discover. And i believe there is nothing bad about dreaming a bigger dream because our Creator said that He has GREAT plans for us. BUT, there's also a limit. If we are too consumed of our dreams and we forget the people in our lives and most especially the One who gave us the dream,oh no! we are heading the road to distraction. :)

congratulations for God gave you His grace like that.
ahm, for me, it is not bad to aim for another dream. as long you did not exceed your limits and you still pledge your life to the people whom you love. afterall the talent we can show like what you mentioned relies in our capacity. if you can, then why not. just do not forget to pray.

Well,your dreams are nice and congratulations you have achieved your dreams.People must dream another goal so that they will achieve their success and it is like a ladder that we take steps each time just to achieve our goals.I dreamed to finish my studies in elementary and highschool. Then goal is to finish my course in college then have a job.Then be promoted and so on.

Yes, we all needed our own dram and goal setting for the fulfilment of the same. I think in fact such dream is driving our life more energetic and the hope and expections to fulfill our dram make the life more colourful and it is a necessary.
As you said, we never stop with our dreams and we think of new and better choices with more convenience. We should have short-term and long-term goals and need to work to fulfill till it completed for a better tomorrow.

Congratulations for your work that was published and thank you for sharing your achievement here with us.
For me, I will do the same.. If I have attained a dream or a certain goal, I wouldn't stop there. If one has been finished and achieved, another one has to be started. If a dream has come true, it's time to dream bigger dreams. Setting goals really help me a lot. It's like you have a guide on what direction you would like to step in to. It's like being sure on where you are going. Though sometimes goals may not be achieved but that should not be the reason for us to stop. Just continue pursuing what you want, and when you get it, start another one.
