My cat keeps me up all night! What can we do?

The cat is a male and three years old. He is nocturnal of course and jumps around like a crazy person all night long. He scratches up my rug next to my bed and sometimes runs over the bed like if he was attacking an animal. He has been catching lots of bugs this morning because we had many due to brick work around our house. Are there any toys or exercises that we can do to tire him out or calm him down just a little? Has anybody else have experienced a fiesty cat?

Well, what a really feisty cat you have there, ours is the opposite of yours. Anyway, when cats become feisty, you can calm them down by letting them eat catnip. It always calm them down as it relaxes them.
When my cat is starting to become feisty and we're out of food, i give it a scratch in the neck and rub it's head. They love it as well and they calm down. Hope my suggestions help, i do hope your cat behaves itself. He he he.

i will try catnip. he is an addict and i have to keep it in the fridge so he wont smell it. He sleeps all day when we are up, i just wish he would sleep when we do. thank you
