Bare bottom spanking in public

Have you ever been spanked bare bottom in public? My mother was a believer in the idea that a child should be punished immediately after the offense no matter where we were nor who was around. It didn't happen often, but there were a couple of times where I got a bare bottom spanking in a store. One time we got kicked out of the store. So let's make this a double question. Have you ever been spanked bare bottom in public and do you think someone should be kicked out for doing so?

I don't believe in spanking but that is because I was spanked as a child. Never bare bottom in public, not that I can remember anyway. That would be very emotionally scarring to the child and while it might just help when it comes to controlling THAT bad behavior, it doesn't mean that it is a good thing to do.
I think that they SHOULD be thrown out of the store for doing so.
