An hour of rain causes flood , killing anyone , destroying agriculture , destroying properties and paralyzing businesses . Whom to blame ? God ? Government ? People ? You and me ? The investors ? Guess , this is now the karma we are experiencing. Fellow man what have we done to our mother earth ? The answer , just look around , flood
landslide both in urban and hinterlands , victims , from all walks of life.. Whom shall we blame for this , could it be God ? No way .. blame you and me ? Yes , ourselves would be the very first to be blame. Look where we throw our waste , look how we burn plastic materials and how we use plastic cellophanes. Trees are being cut and cut without replanting , see the nature is taking revenge now. People are so fond of blaming others , without looking and examining there their own selves. Let us examine ourselves , we are the great part of those floods because of the things that we are doing.Shall we start to change , so we can help our community , so big flood will be prevented. Lets us not blame God for he gave us beautiful Earth , nor our government , first to be blame is you and me.

It's for us to really reflect upon since we are the ones suffering from it. These floods should remind us to be good stewards of the earth.

God created nature and let the man take care of those natures , but what happen ? We are the steward of the earth but we are the very first to break the covenant , between God and man. Expected from us is to preserve and conserve the Mother Earth.

I remember decades ago that everyone is waiting for rainy season excitedly.
Especially the agricultural lands/places wherein people rejoices when rain comes.
But, this past years, rain causes a lot of trouble and worries.
I am sure everyone of us knows why and who are to be blame.
Limited virgin forest are not even spared from human's greed.
Nearby provinces turned into cities slowly due to this modernization.
Housing projects, residential houses are like mushrooms growing in towns and provinces because the cities are already loaded with tall buildings, malls and road widening.
So, this unwanted calamities is nature's way of reminding us (human)of our own wrong doings.

Strongly agree with you , before when housing projects did not exist . subdivisions is not yet a fad , i never heard that a flood happened except when there is a storm.
True when it housing business bloom , trees , mountains were the sacrificial lamb . See now , a droplet of rain cause flood.

here in our area where we live for almost 19 years we have never experienced any floods even if there is typhoon or rain for several days. i guess it depends on the area.,in another area we used to live before we always experience a flood..waters entering our house when has typhoon or when it rains for several days. it depends on the area. clogged canals and also when there are no trees, those areas are the ones that are mostly being flooded. it has been raining for several days here in our city about 2 weeks ago and one area was really flooded and people were evacuated from their houses because in that area they have been cutting down the trees and illegal logging..yes, that is right, it is the people mostly is to blame,.i think in order to minimize this kind of tragedies and floods we should start being discipline and learn to dispose garbage properly and of course plant trees in order to protect us from floods. it is not easy for some because some people are really abusive to nature..and if they will not act properly it will all come back to them in the future when calamities like typhoon and storm comes..

Hi friend, blaming others, god or nature don't help us to stop this kind of floods and natural disasters. We must take care of environment and avoid doing ills to it like cutting tress, pollution and others. If we give importance to the environment and keep it in a good manner, it will be useful to control this kind of disasters

We human beings are a irresponsible lot,we treat our earth with contempt and selfishness,so we are faced with disasters that ruin our existence,God never asked us to be greedy and selfish in sharing the goodness of nature.we exploit nature and the environment without thinking of others and these calamities are the cost of our irresponsible, selfish living.

So very true , see what we got now ? God gave us the earth to conserve and preserve but what we did , we abused and misused it. We reap what we sow..so sad right but we still can change , not too late yet.

We ourselves are to blame. So much damage has been done to mother earth and now we are experiencing the efffect of what we have done. The sad thing is, this the price we have to pay for development. Of course we are responsible for what is happening. I hope that we will realize that we are slowly destroying the very place we live in and if we don't act now, there will be no more place to live in the near future,

All of us can be blamed. We contributed to the destruction of our planet. While I was traveling from Surigao to my hometown, our bus happened to pass trucks loaded with logs. Logging is still rampant in that place. We just hope they replace the trees that they got by planting a new one.

There are catastrophes and that can't be avoided, floods on one part of the world and drought else where... but what is going on nowadays is too far from being natural.Nature and the weather are being manipulated and now we have to pay the price, I wonder if people realize what we are doing before it's not late to stop, or we are going to destroy our beautiful planet totally... I hate it when people play God.

Yes, I agree with you. We are the one to be blamed because of floods. Flood is not a fortuitous event. It is the cause of our actions. Flood can be avoided if only we have discipline to take care of our environment. Proper garbage disposal must be strictly implemented and followed. Whenever we encounter news about floods we are saddened but we are just like that. We should act in order to prevent future calamities. We should help one another in saving our mother Earth.

Yes, definitely us. We are the responsible for this. And God allowed this calamities to happen to call men and women to come back to their senses.
