China is said to have the biggest population than all the countries of the world. Yet the Chinese people are believed to be the healthiest and most likely do not easily get sick. What does the Chinese know that we don't know? What could be their secret medicine? Can we not learn from them?

I believe in natural remedies. Chinese medicine is very good. Plum Flower helps you fight off colds and flu. Cordyceps will give you energy. I also believe in Ayurvedic medicine. This, too, is very good. More people are turning to natural ways of healing the body and mind. The Chinese do not have all the chemicals in their foods that we in the West do. They eat well and practice much herbal medicine and acupuncture. They know how to use the fruits of the earth to their benefit. And they have a very different approach to health.

You might find this site interesting www.chinese-herbs.org I take many of these herbs for general health. I haven't had a cold in 10 or more years. In that same time frame I had the flu once. Occasionally I feel as if I'm coming down with something but it usually goes away and sometimes I use peroxide or traditional herbs and it never amounts to anything. I have a fear of being sick.
Diet also plays a big role in their good health. I don't think they are big meat eaters. There is much to learn from Chinese health habits.

Hello deazil, greetings. I am fascinated with the knowledge that Chinese people have the largest population yet believed to be healthiest and less likely to get sick. Now I am learning from them.

This is more likely to be due to lifestyle rather than medicinal.
There has been no medical support to justify the claim that Chinese medicines work, except for the obvious physcosomatic effects of believing that you are well.
There is also a totally different lifestyle in China, especially when compared to many of the European countries or the USA.

Hello mangtony7451, while I believe Chinese acupuncture to bean effective way treatment I am not sure if Chinese people have a better health compared to the world specially the developed countries. They have some herbal medicines but that is not limited to China as people in many other countries also use herbal medicines which are cheaper and effective but is that the only reason for you to think Chinese enjoy better health than the rest of the world? I am not sure.

Yes, there are a lot of Chinese medicines that are being used by Filipinos way back in the years of our grandparents.
One example of such that i always have with me is the White Flower. I would put it on some itchy parts of my body and the itch will be gone in minutes. I would use it to sniff when i feel dizzy.
My grandmother use it for stomachache. She would drop some of it in a cup of hot water and have it drank by someone who have stomachache, and in a while the pain is gone.
Such is the effect of Chinese medicines on us.

hello there SIMPLYD greetings. Nice info you have shared for us. One thing I noticed though, in many malls today there are those Chinese Pharmacists, maybe there are other products we can inquire about that equally effective as the White Flower.

hi toyota4k, greetings. Have you noticed the revival of acupuncture. Nowadays there are many who are interested to test the advantages of this agelong healing through needles. Even medical practitioners are beginning to see and acknowledge its advantages.

When we go to see a doctor, we love more to see a traditional Chinese medicine hospital. We consider traditional Chinese medicine does not have as many side effects although the process might be slower. Yet the efficiency is much better.

Hi,
You are right. China is thickly populated country. But they are healthy and they have the knowledge of medicines which are very effective. I don't know about their medicines. We can get these medicines in our country. But I haven't tried them yet.

i theyhave many other things or alternatives to deal with the diseases. They have acupuncture and other things to keep themselves healthy and keep away the diseases. They also have herbal remedies to tackle this. But I think the most important part that keeps them healthy is strictly following the routines. Like eat or take food on right time they wake up early and most importantly they do hard work (more of physical labour). Doing hard and specially physical one makes them and their immune system powerful to cope with any disease. I think the other thing that keeps them protected from diseases is very long working hours that makes them very busy.

Hello prakashsahni, greetings. So aside from their traditional medicines hard work or physical labors added much to their healthy lifestyles. Maybe this can be classified as physical exercises. I am not sure about this but your response is very informative.
