What do you usually do when you don't have task to do in your office?

This is different from vacant time or break time such as lunch or break for snack. Well do you have any days or times that your boss is not asking you to do something? Like you are not doing any office work. Example in my case since I am a graphic artist there are times that he will give me a task and ask me to design something for marketing collateral such as brochure, business cards, flyers and other more for print. Sometimes it has to be rushed that I have work loads but there are times that I can rest and do other things. For now I am not doing anything since he didn't give me any assigned task as graphic artist so what I can do now is to post here in mylot all the time here at office. Or at times I can do other projects just like from Odesk. My officemate who interviewed me before even told me before I work here that I can still do my sidelines in case that I have no assigned task for this company. Some of my officemates have told me regarding the former graphic artist whom I replaced that before he has his sidelines and sometimes he is going home early to do the other sidelines. He is also doing invitations and other more designs inside the office which has nothing to do with the company that he is working. What about you what are you doing? Are you also posting in forums, do other works, or playing games?
