Is it possible to earn money in Youtube?

I think you earn on it, by rating and commenting on a certain video uploaded by company..if they are willing to pay just for the video to be trending and be a topic in the net. you just need to rate it with good comments of course. I don't how coz i haven't try it, but I read it somewhere in a blog. Try browsing the net for more info on this money earning method.
