can a student doing BAMS apply for the Phycatrist course ?

my friend is doing BAMS now, is he eligible to apply for the Psychiatrist course ? or any other qualification is needed to apply for the course of psychiatrist ?

hey , BAMS is bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine . it is a course to be a doctor like MBBS but it deals with Ayurveda medicine .
