Hi ChoukseyMK, It is good to have fellowship, one with another but I don't feel that we need religion for that. I have no problem with a person's beliefs, if he/she don't try to push it on others. I don't agree with missionaries from one religion going to another country and trying to convert people to their way of thinking. Not one person on earth knows that their religion is right. They may feel that it's right because they have been indoctrinated since birth, they may even think that they know, but that is impossible. People should not fight over religion, just live together in peace. Blessings.

I wouldn't say that it is required, but at the same time, I would give it a try first before making any hasty judgments. I was a Catholic, and I didn't like it, but that didn't mean that other people weren't allowed to be Catholic. If people want to be religious, then they are more than allowed to do so, but my advice would be not to spread your religion around like some people do. Let people come to you and ask questions if they would like to know. My friend told me that she was a Buddhist one time, and I was curious about it. I even went and visited a Buddhist temple, twice. I even considered it, but the problem is that I would never be able to stick to a vegan diet.

hi! To me religion has to do with finding the answers to life.. what is life? who are we? where did we come from? and where are we going? I had a strong desire to "know truth" (of what is). I found answers which knocked my socks off (in answer to prayers) and my socks are still knocked off.. I began my faith 33 years ago.

Religion is not required, nor necessary. People are free to have religion if they so choose, but they try to push their beliefs on others and they indoctrinate their children, giving them no choice and making them fear choosing otherwise, if they realize there is a choice at all. None of that is right. It is a myth that religion is necessary for morality. In fact, religion is often used for just the opposite. Also, I would like to add on a side note, people equate spirituality with religion although they are two very different things. I, myself, am spiritual, but I do not follow any religious doctrine.

It's not required. People has always a choice. Although for me upon hearing it first , I felt goose bumps but then I know that we have a free will. So I understand why some people doesn't have faith in a supernatural being.
