Locating my daughter

Haha no I didn't quite lose her! But almost. Have anyone ever had an experience such as mine?! It all started when she reached the age of 3. Everyday, anytime was playtime for her and I didn't mind it at all..it's just that we as mothers have to limit everything they do from how much sweets they have to how long their naps are. I will admit to whatever and I will. There are many times that I allow my daughters a little extra of whatever. Have u? Anyways last night we went on a food run and it was already getting dark and my daughter was still super hyper and I knew I should've given her that sip of dr pepper but I couldn't resist when she put her two fingers together and told me " I'll just take a little sip mommy ok" and she then proceeded to show me how much of a little sip she wanted to take and it was soo adorable I couldn't say no to the preciouse face and I knew in the back of my mind that I was going to regret it. And sure enough I did! As soon as we entered the supermarket she ran as fast as she could straight to the toy and candy section and then after that she ran thru every isle giggling her little head off! So here I am worried sick that she'd get lost and I can't run fast at all and if I were to run after her she would run even faster and she would enjoy it! Just as my other daughter wen to go try to catch her my husband came along with a hot rod magazine glued to his hands...and I say to him (I'm shaking my head) can u go get her because u can run faster than me. He did but she wiggled out o his grip and ran off again so this time I said bye Myra we're going. Lina was petrified that we'd actually leave her there at the store! And I thought to myself wow I have a great family!!! how long is this gonna last?! I don't mind it all though I love my family that God blessed me with and my annoying husband too even though I want to throw him out with the trash..! Anyways that's how I found Myra: her giggles led me right to her and do u know where I sound her? Under a table eating grapes! So I took her by the hand and asked her y did u run Off like that? U scared me I thought I lost u. And she told me she was hungry and I was thinking to myself how could she be hungry, I gave her fries and chicken nuggets and a peanut butter sandwich just before we left. She isn't big at all but she sure does eat more than her big sister!! And then as we waited in line to be checked out I gotto thinking about what I read in a Parenting magazine about anytime being playtime for toddlers. And I said to myself yep that's my kid!

Toddlers are really hyperactive and sometimes it is really impossible to catch up with them. When I go to the mall with my kid at that age, I always bring along a child leash that is tied on one of his hand and the other to mine. That way, I'll know where he is going even if I am looking at some things. People here thought it was weird coz not every mo can be seen with it, but it was a perfect tool for me whenever my kid and I goes out. And with the appetite? Oh boy! All of my for kids has this big appetite!

Hi friend! Like u, I did the stuffed animal/leash on her when she was about to turn 2 and then she figured out how to undo it :( so I had to part ways with it. The leash ur talking about..I will have to try it but where would I find one? At Walmart? If only I had half my daughters energy...! The things I would do with It!

Hi, Verolop! I am not from the US. I found the child leash in the baby's department of one of the malls here in our country. Maybe Walmart has hem too.
