I suggest you try Cloud Crowd. It will not make you rich, but it promise you will get AT LEAST same pay rate as you are working in Fast Food shop, and you are now working at home.
Cloud Crowd is a freelance working platform. What it is different from the normal freelance site is that you won't need to give profile and wait for people to hire you. All you need is register and start working. They will check your work after you submit your work, but if you are up to standard, you are sure to be paid. No competition with other workers.
If you still worry about not meeting their standard, just join and try. Their work usually won't take more than 5 mins, so it won't take you much time. Most importantly, they have no minimum payout amount and they pay you automatically every working day(i.e. everyday except USA holiday). So, it will only take one day to see if this is legitimate or scam.

I just looked at the site and at the testimonials are payouts in 2011... maybe it is not trustworthy...
