Hiya myLotters and friends!
Talking about meeting up online friends, I want to say that it's really nice to have them met or knew them personally. I say that, because you will never know, time will come that you might bump at each other somewhere, not knowing he or she is even a close friend from mylot, as an example. 
Just this day, I was able to meet one mylotter. I know her long time ago, by her posts, and with her profile, we have the same age of being mylot members.
When I was driving a one lane street, the car was getting off the garage so I have to stay at one side of the road. The car stopped when my motorcycle could already make the way and the driver of the car got off to close her garage gate.
I stopped a bit and look at the driver. She looked back at me and said, "So it's you. Now at last we met". So I nodded and say goodbye.
We are neighbors for 7 years, since we transfer to this place. And we are friends on mylot for 5 years. I pass her place everyday that I go to work. And just today that we were able to meet.
So are you coming to the Second Mylot Conference Philippines?

actually, i know her from because she's in my list. she's only an avatar though she have posted some photos. but her profile says, she's from another city, which is about 20kilometers.
about two weeks ago, she sent me pm, inviting me to join her in another site. i was not convinced with the site she mentioned, but she added to pm her on fb so she could know when i registered and she will add me in the group.
on fb that i actually found out that we are neighbors. and fb actually gave us idea of what our personality and identities.

I have never met a fellow mylotter and no one in my country seems to be one here 
. I hope to migrate in the near future and maybe then ill meet a mylotter .

how have you been? hope all is well with you.
funny, i just replied to a discussion asking if i've met any other mylotters. i mentioned that mylotters based in the philippines or at lest those who are in manila have met already but i haven't had the pleasure of joining any of the filipino mylotters.
so when and where is this second mylot conference happening? very interested to join. kindly pm me the details.

can't remember details about the first mylot meet-up. i wasn't able to attend can't recall the reason why. just replied to rberon's thread about the 2nd mylot conference, sent him a pm as well. hopefully, i can attend this one.
looking forward to it.
read that you guys will be joining via skype. it'll be great to see you guys in person but i guess that woudl do for now.

i guess you were also did plan to attend the first conference? if my memory can recall well? but you were not able to make it at MOA for some business reasons?
well thanks for asking, i am fine so far.
the next conference will be held in manila again, supposedly, according to rberon. but the venue and the exact date are still to be learned from that member. just keep in touch and it will be mentioned for sure in the next few discussions we will be posting.

actually, facebook helps. it started with a message of invitation on mylot. then she told me she also have an account on facebook and we continue to exchange messages there.

Oh that's cool! It's good to meet a fellow myLotter right in your neighbourhood. I don't know myLotters here in my hometown in Cagayan de Oro. But it'd be great to know once I have the time or am not too busy with work.

Wow, you've been neighbors for years but it was only the first time you both met each other. Yes, I guess meeting your virtual friends is a good idea. Somehow, you'll all decide when and where. yeah, for years that we are neighbors, we never knew that we are both mylotters and friends online. but since we really did not talk about it in the past, we never thought of meeting. just lately that we were able to exchange messages on the other site that we were able to know, we are neighbors.

our meeting actually was accidental as we did not plan for it. while the mylot conference is something that we are trying to organize well so to make it successful. try to get in touch with rberon or keep in touch for details to be posted very very soon.

What a coincidence! Well, it's good that you were able to met in person. I used to have a real avatar but I removed it several weeks ago for work related reason. But after my training I will be using my real picture again. Also I hope I could also attend some get together of mylotters.

Hi friend, good to hear you met a mylot friend, as you mentioned you both are friends for around 5 years in mylot, but you don't get a chance to meet each other even though you are passing her place while going to your job, finally you met each other today and identified both. neighbors we are, but our houses are not that close and it's not that i do not talk to our neighbors, it just happen that our near at each other and i pass the road always, where her house is located.

the second conference is still in the planning stage. rberon is the original organizer and we still have to learn from him whether it will be held this month or next month and where it will be held. the first one we conducted was december of 2010 in manila at sm mall of asia. that was the time when we were in manila for the surgery of my son.

Hello Neildc, No i won't be able to attend, I just found out that we will be participating another "Lord of parden" week prayer so i doubt i can attend on the said date. it's ok if i don't meet up with them. I will make time to visit and probably not this year.

So what I try to figure out/don't understand is this: you already knew eachother as neighbours before you joined mylot or?
I wonder if there are many people who do meet or would recognize a mylotter/my lot friend on the street in real life. To be honest I doubt it.
