Making earrings is a craft to enjoy for years

My daughter introduced me to making earrings, I had visited her for a weekend and t she was totally occupied with her new hobby. She intended to sell them and raise money for her church. Once she had taught me how to use the tools I was away. I haven't spent much time on it in recent years but I often go to my kit box and make up a new pair of earrings to match a new dress.
It is a cheap craft to start up. You do not have to buy expensive tools, there are cheap ones available that work just as well. When I started I toured the charity shops and bought old necklaces to get a store of beads to practise on, they looked as good as new. check out the craft suppliers, you will get hooked!

It is so easy to make earrings! Plus it is so much fun to get the compliments on what you have made that is so unique. If you want to do it to make extra money, ladies always want new earrings to wear, especially if they have purchased a new outfit! I have gotten heavily into making jewelry and am having a great time doing it. Plus I have made money doing something that is so much fun!!!

One place you might be able to get information about making earrings is firemountaningems.com. (this isn't a link) The jewelry making supplier, Fire Mountain Gems has wonderful beads and other supplies, but they also have jewelry making videos that you can view online for free. It would be worth a trip to their website to see if they have the information. You also could try enter earring making instructions and see if the web search could find anything for you.

It had been many years since i left school, i haven't tried making any bracelet using beads. My craft teacher ever taught us to make bracelet. I haven't tried making earrings. Is it much easier to make than the bracelet or not? Bracelet is not really that easy to make, as i remembered before. Care to share more about your making earrings experience?

I just started making earrings and love it. I am also looking into making bracelets and necklaces as well. I know that the local craft stores in our area offer classes in making jewelry. If I can find one that is not expensive I might take one provided I can fit it in my schedule. I put my beads in plastic containers.

I always liked crafts and I check craft sites. I like making stuff. I was doing it since I was a kid.
I also prefer making something that I need instead of consuming.

Wow, that is so cool! I love earrings and fashion jewelry, most of the time I end up seeing a pair that's like the next door's girl lol! If only I can make earrings like you do, I'm sure I'll always have unique earrings. Some earrings can also be quite expensive in some crafts shops.

That's great, I can make easily bracelet and necklace but earrings that's bit difficult for me.. Hope she will become succesful in her new profit earning hobby.
