When You Can't Get Enough

How much do you eat everyday? I am sure you can't tell if you are not conscious with your weight. I sure as heaven that I am not. I want to be healthy; though, it would not seem right for me to say it when I can't seem to get enough of unhealthy foods such as burgers, fries, pizza, and so forth. Before and after work, I always go to fast food chains where they serve stress-relief meals. It is true that these meals give me so much pleasure that it made me forget my stress. But at the back of my head, I know that one of these days, my body is going to punish me for being too abusive. I just can't help it. Eating healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables make my hungry easily when I am at work. To me, they don't really taste that good and they only want to make me eat some more to satisfy my appetite and cravings. As much as I would love to put a stop on this unhealthy lifestyle, I do not know where to start! Help!

I like to keep unhealthy foods at a minimum. I start my day with two pieces of fruit and 16oz of fat free milk a end it with a salad or veggies. This helps me and it works for other people I know.

What kind of fruits could sustain your needs given that you're working 9 hours a night - yes, I work at night shifts - and six days a week? Banana is alkaline, so my guess is that it's one of those fruits who could. What else do you recommend?

I reccomend fruits that are high fiber with lean protein and nuts. I like apples for fruit and almonds for nuts.

Everybody talks about losing weight. But there are people who are eager to increase weight. Nobody giving any idea how to get it. Please think about skinnys. Give suggestion how to add pounds in body.

I understand where you are coming from. However, skinny people and those who are obese are not exactly different. Both are unhealthy parties. Both should find a way to be average. There are so many ways on how to add pounds. It's easier than losing them. Sugar, carbs, fatty foods, etc. Sitting on the couch and eating a bag of potato chips. Eat burgers every two hours. Oh, the fun of gaining weight...

Burger and Fries - Unhealthy food that will someday soon kill you.
If you what food is bad for your health but still can't avoid eating them then wait for pay day to come. Surely as toxins kept storing and storing in your body there will be a time that you will feel the bad effect of those toxins on you. It may not be now yet but surely it will as all others have experienced and regret about. Fruits and vegetables can't satisfy you because your stomach and mind have been conditioned that way but if you start making it as habit you will notice that you stomach will learn to adjust. It will come to a point that you are no longer happy if you are not eating healthy food. I'm talking through experience so why don't you try before it's too late for you.

It seems that fruit and vegetables can't sustain my needs. Maybe it's because of the nature of my job because, honestly, it's very stressful and consumes so much of my energy. Maybe I'm just making a lame excuse but I tried going on a diet, eating veggies and fruits - but when I started working with only those cuties in my stomach, my head started to spin a couple of hours later because of hunger. I can't perform my tasks well, and I am not supposed to take my break after four hours. This is the first time that I really gained so much weight because of the nature of my job and the kind of routine I have. I love my job, but it just caused my to be so unhealthy. I don't know what to do.

Hi friend, we must take fruits and vegetable for our good health. Junk items and fast foods will give a pleasant taste to our tongue, but they are not good for our health, we must control our tongue and take good diet for our health. You have the ability to control your tongue and take good food, do it in your life

Would you feel enough if the situation causes pain inside? I am sure that we need to say enough and try to find ways to have solutions for it. I don't like the idea of feeling little, if we don't deserve it.

I would try and start to not go to those fast food places as much as you do now. Try going every other day and on the days that you do not go, pack you own lunch/meals. At home, always have fresh fruit and nuts available to you. Try not to keep much unhealthy food in the house. Also exercise it really important. I try to get at least 30 mins of it each day. It doesn't have to be intense stuff, you could simply go on a walk before or after work and in place of taking an elevator, take the stairs. These things are seem small, but it will add up on day to a healthier you

I have been losing weight for the past two years now, and one of the things that I have been struggling with the most is having to work out how much food I am able to eat while still being able to lose the weight that I am aiming to. I must have been doing something right though, because I have managed to lose eight stones in the past two years, so I am pleased about that. If you like to eat more food, then you have to do more exercise to be able to make up for that. For every single thing that I eat that isn't part of my healthy diet, I make sure that I burn more than that number of calories through exercise so that I wouldn't gain weight from it. I soon learned that it wasn't worth the food and I was just as well not bothering to eat it at all. So now I have got a hold on my own diet and I don't even eat half of the amount that I would have done in the past.

You need a very strong will power if you really want to change your eating habits. All the food you mentioned, I have also loved them since I was a kid, but I try to control myself in eating them coz I do not want to get sick. My grandparents had diabetes, kidney problems and hypertension. I am sure that I can also have them if I do not watch what I eat. So better start planning your meals everyday. Stay healthy!

Having a healthy lifestyle and losing weight cannot be done overnight. Do it one little step at a time. -Try eating smaller meals 6 times a day, as that is effective on me. -Do little exercise at the start and gradually increase the time you spend on exercise as days go by -If you cant resist eating during dinner, try eating only oats. I hope these would help as they are easy to do and hope they would be effective to you too. Good luck!
