A new job...

Germany
September 13, 2012 11:33pm CST
Four month passed already since I emigrated to another country and finally, I found a job. I started working a week ago now and I am happy about the change in my life. Hopefully, all of those persons who are still looking for a job may find one soon. What about you? Did you have to change something in your life or habits because of the financial crisis?

Yes, and I did just that about 3 years ago. I went to work as an Accountant in a foreign country whose primary language isn't even English. Did I survive? Yes. I have to. But I have to resign when I married my husband. And now, I am off to join him again in another country. Hopefully I will also find work there soon.

I wish you the best in your new situation and hope also you may find soon the job you are looking for. We have to maintain a positive attitude and fight for what we really want. Live can be like a battle which we can win if we don't let us go with all the problems we might have during a special period. Life really has so many nice things to offer.

So, Angela is saying bad things about Greece while there is a crisis in Germany too. Right? If you have to leave and find work elsewhere... Where did you go? I hope you make it there. I did change some things lately. I stopped going out. Maybe once every 10 days. I stopped eating out as much, buying stupid stuff and decided to make what I can.

The crisis is everywhere, even in Germany, that's right, but Germany wasn't touched so strong than other countries. What I want to say is that every country is living the crisis on its own way, different to the others. Some countries have a lot of problems right now as I listened on TV like Italy, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus and, of course, Greece. I didn't realize that Angela is talking bad about Greece, maybe I was too busy with other points. What do you listen that she is saying about Greece? How do you see the situation in your country as someone who lives there? I left Spain, where I also had to realize many changes for the last two or three years and even so my situation over there went not very well. It's difficult to find a work, the health care and the school system are suffering under the financial problems so it's not easy for the kids to study.... Hopefully, your country finds soon the way out of the situation you are living there right now!

You are right, politicians never loose. On one side, it's their job trying to resolve problems inbetween the crisis so many people are suffering under, maybe a few of them are really trying to do their best. But anyhow and at the end, every person has to carry on trying to resolve his or her problems. No politician will give anybody a job or other solutions to be well. Everyone has to look for his or her solutions. It's wonderfull that you still can be optimistic, I am optimistic too, I think that's one of the reasons wich helped me to decide to emigrate, to recognize that some countries like Spain, for example, still takes a long time to recover from their problems. Other countries are less touched by the crisis and still offer jobs and some good oportunities. In the breakingnews some time ago, they were talking about that Greace mayb will have to leave the euro. Do you think that it may happen?

A lot of bad comments come from Germany, from a lot of politicians. Let's hope that all countries will be better soon, because it is not a crisis, it is a situation for some rich people to get richer. I am always optimistic. Most people aren't and that's why they experience this situation even worse. What you said about Spain applies here too. A lot of my friends are unemployed adn they are young and productive people who cannot offer their productivity anywhere. All we did all summer is go swimming which costs almost nothing. No jobs to be found. I will soon have to move in with my parents, which is not good and some friends did the same too.

hi, yes,it is true that life sometimes need to change he/she live or his/habit because of financial crisis, that is why people said that its better to be poor in the first and be a richer rather than to be a rich first then going to poor because rich people really hard to change there habit and way of living.

That's right, a poor person who becomes rich because of his/her work and attitude knows how to appreciate what they have got and never forgot where they come from. There's a good example for the other side: when the oldest daughter from the spanish king got divorced, her ex husband asked for a date by the king because he didn't want to loos his sociale statement after getting divorced. Nowadays, they already suspended him from the job he had and nobody talks about him. (That's what we could read in the magazines.) I'm sure that for him it had to be difficult this change of life. And like him, there are many people who cannot afford to be rich since the remember and suddenly loose almost everything.

yeah people are migrating to other places and countries to find better job and better pay. It is good also because you get to see and live in other places apart from your hometown. You have to make it a home. get new friends and meet all different types of people as well. Yeah I hope all those looking for job get one soon. All the best to you. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

You are right, migrating has many positiv points. Sometimes, we only migrate to find a (better) job, but than we reach much more: new friends, new knowledge about other countries, languages, cultures... there are many points envolved. Once we realized a big change like this it seems that we open our mind and see live from another point of view. Thanks for your wishes.

Congratulations and all the best with your new endeavors! There was time in my life when I had to make some drastic changes given some particular circumstances. There were definitely a lot of uncertainties in the beginning; but all will be good if you just put forth your best and honest efforts.

thanks for the best wishes for unemployed people. yes, i would probably change some of my habits to more promote promising and prosperous life. like before i have no life direction. i cannot get a good job to sustain myself and live a life independently. but since i asked God for guidance and blessings, He never turned me down. for now even i cannot say that i am already a successful person to the field i started building, well, His power is working into my life and that little by little, i am making small progress in life. i would be steady to be like this until i will be successful in life. thanks :)

You are doing well, we have to keep active in our life, we need some purpose and to work on it. Of course, it goes slowly, but you surely will work it out until you get it done. And it's also very important to fear in God and ask Him for guidance. Many times we forget to ask Him for help. If you carry on believing in God and you have faith, He won't leave you alone.
