...cannot delete kaspersky registry

I have been having a problem with Kasperky internet security. I downloaded the application to my system after my avast anti-virus began experiencing problems. I was disappointed with the system when it failed to run due to some malfunction that I cannot pinpoint. The only thing annoying me is that I tried to remove it by using the application removal and by deleting the program’s registry keys. I don’t want any trace so I do the l second procedure. The thing is. I cannot complete delete the kaspersky because I need permission from the system to do so. The same goes for its related keys in the registry. How do I do this? I am now using a different antivirus because of the failure of the two aforementioned programs. I am using free anti-virus versions. In addition, how do I manually choose my anti-virus software for my PC’s protection.

Sounds like you don't have the administration rights to the computer. You will need that.

Which is weird. I am the admin for my computer. I just don't get it and why can't I delete that program.

There is a tool on the Kaspersky site to help with the removal: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208279463 You can try that.
