Before you start, I suggest you open a new tab for Google images For the long years of being an internet user, I've met people from across the globe on social networking or game sites. It amazes me whenever I see their photos or see them live on webcam. That's when we became good friends and share our culture views, beliefs, exchange photos of places we loved the most from our very own countries. Each time these cyber friends tell stories about a place, I am eager enough to learn about them and search on Google. Geeeezz, When I see those places, can't help but be amazed on how God our Creator has made the world equally beautiful. The wonders are everywhere on earth! Every country has something to be proud of,whether it's place, the people themselves, the way of living and struggles, the food, the resources and the development as the years go by. Internet did a great job on this! It's how travel beyond what my feet couldn't step on. When I was still on elementary, we learn a lot about 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. In the old days, history book was black and white.. lol.. Finally now I'm able to browse them on colored..Curious if they do exist. ANCIENT OLD DAYS.. Even until now, I am not sure if these really existed. 1. Hanging Garden of Babylon which was actually a gift of the King for his wife who was homesick and longed to see plants around the palace. Hanging doesn't mean like magical hanging or actually flying on air. It's actually plants that have grown all over the palace windows terrace that required 37,000 liters daily for watering. woah @,@ 2. The Pyramid of Egypt which is a tomb for a Pharaoh. Without an equipment to created buildings-old time made this almost perfect triangle structure. Claps.. 3. Temple of Artemis in Ephesus now Turkey . Artemis was a goddess and this temple was dedicated to him. Stunning.. 4. Statue of Zeus at Greece is a 39 ft seated statue that occupies half width of the temple's aisle. They believe that if the statue is done on standing position with it's height, surely it will unroof the temple. Humorous ancient people too .. 5. The Lighthouse of Alexandria which was ordered to be built by the succeeding King of Alexander the Great. This tower was the tallest man made in it's time and guided sailors into the port. 6. Colossus of Rhodes was a statue of Greek Titan Helios erected on the city of RHodes, was made to their victory over the ruler of Cyprus. 7. Mausuleum at Halicarnassus in Turkey is actually a tomb of Mausolus-when he died he left his sister-who is also his sister .strange. and became his successor of throne. SO IN OLD TIMES..TOMB always gets attention.. 2 out of 7 in Ancient Wonders are tombs.. yaaaaaaaaaaaay Now you may be familiar of these.. the 7 New wonders Foundation .. 1. Taj Mahal of India this love and amazing crown of palaces that was built in the memory of the emperor's 3rd wife. Admired global and is called as the jewel of Muslim art in India 2. Colosseum in Italy is the former Flavian Amphitheater and was the largest ever built during the Roman Empire. It's where gladiator battles, animal hunts, any activities , dramas and plays are done. 3. Chichen Itza means at the well of the mouth of Itza was a large-precolumbian city. The whole site shows a lot of architectural styles. 4. Machu Picchu at Peru South Africa is a community on top of the mountain. Just scares me upon seeing the photos.. How landscapes are done on the steep mountain..It became a tourist attraction. 5. Cristo Redentor or Christ the Redeemer of Brazil is surely what Christians would want to visit one day. Me tooooo!:) It's the largest Jesus statue in the world. 6. Petra means stone of Jordan is a historical and architectural city famous for being a rocked-cut site and was described as the most precious cultural property of man's cultural heritage. 7. GReat wall of China is a very long from east to west structure of several walls composed of bricks, stones, woods, tamped earth and every material that can be used. Since it's been done with several walls, eventually became stronger bigger and unified. The said wall was purposely made to protect CHina from attacks. Now being enhanced and also another tourist spot. THere have been differences on listings of these wonders attractions. Some articles include the GRand Canon of Arizona, the Stonehenge of England, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and also the nature attractions Mount Everest and Victoria Falls. Now.. Let's check whether you've found out of these latest amazing wowowee's of earth in the modern days! Some may not be attractions, but believe me they are truly wonderful..for me they are really new.. 1. THeir national stadium and hosted the 2008 Olympics,Yaayyy if the nest is as big as that, i wonder how the eggs are ..or the mom & dad themselves.. 3. Palm Jumeirah Resort is another from Dubal.wow.Really wow. 4. Eye catching aerial wiews of houses . London has this circle patterned housing. Hongkong's side by side high rise really high buildings due to being densely populated. Menorca Spain houses,lined-up,same roof colors and 99% has glistening swimming pools..WILTSHIRE at England is a town that looks like Lego houses.. BATH, SOMERSET at UK has circular set up rows of Grand houses and has a park at the center. 5. Spider Tree at Pakistan. Spiders for survival stayed on trees during flood- too numerous that the tree was surrounded by webs. But was able to help the citizens, coz spiders were reason of mosquitoes' inexistence that might cause sickness after the flood. 6. Rafflesia the largest flower in the world. Found only in Southern Asia Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Sumatra, Thailand and the Philippines. No roots, stems and leaves. Upon looking at it,you will see the 5 large petals. It smells like rotten flesh that's why it's also called corpse flower. 7. Tree of Sap's blood at Yemen. This plant is wonderful in many shapes and is used to produce crystals or can be used as dye or aphrodisiac .woah. 8. Spotted Lakes in Columbia which is found out to contain some of the highest quantities in the world of magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulphates. 9. Wow this is a great start for your myLot adventure! I have not seen many of these but I will take a gander **opens new window to look for the images** These are beautiful. Plus you have given us some information too on the history and I like this. For instance the corpse flower? Ew, did not know that existed! The wonders of God are so vast that we probably would be amazed to find new things all of the time if we looked. I've not seen any of this world yet and I hope one day I can see more of it because like you explain there are so many things out there that are either beautiful or mysterious! And all hold a true existance of God's hand in them.

True! some are beautiful at first glance and some are just defined to be beautiful because they are unique.. I've just heard or read about most of the attractions/places above from Magazines or documentaries when I was younger. Just glad how internet along with helpful handy cameras made way for the world to see the undiscovered. Thanks for such nice welcome :) Yeah I love reading and sad for the wasted years of not writing anymore. Finally I've made a way back to MyLot.. Cheers and good day ahead of u! :)
