Does anyone have any creative ways they save money? I use coupons, watch the grocery store ads to buy things when they are on sale, buy what I can at the Dollar Store, etc. I've heard of some people saying they have a jar where they put $5 bills in them whenever they have one and then deposit it at the end of the year. Would love to hear if any of you have any suggestions or share what you do to save.

I always make a shopping list and price it before I go ot the supermarket and try and only buy what is on my list. I also buy saving stamps for the shops as well and that means I can shop one week without any money or buy foods that I wouldn't normally buy as treats. I saving pound coins etc into money boxes I can't get into

Money saved is money earned. Try to buy things when there is discount and also try to save coins and these coins will become huge notes at the end of a year. I think there are lots of ways we can save money.

I tell all my family and friends to save coke rewards for me and use them to get magazines. My new favorite is All You. Its packed with coupons in every issue plus recipes and things of that sort. I love that it was free and the coupons are usually pretty good ones. I also make and sell laundry detergent. Its not hard to make but some people just dont want to waste the time. I have time to waste but not the money.

I am trying to save money at the moment, and one of the things that I have learned is that you should write a list before you go and do food shopping at a supermarket because if you don't do this then you are just going to find that you spend too much on things that you're not even going to use during the week. I have also stopped using heating in the house, and am trying to wear my jumpers for two days rather than one. Not if they're dirty, but if I've only been sitting at work (I work from home) then there's no real need for them to be washed, so it almost halves the amount of energy that I have to spend on the washer during the course of the week.

My friend, kemark Maybe my way is not the creative ways to save money, but I would like to share with you. You should control your time to use your computer and your TV set air-condition,etc... When you go to bed,you should close the first power supply, because the Standby Power Loss is eating your money bag. And,close the first power supply is very safe for your house. Best wishes to your family!!!

I don`t think there`s anything new under the sun as savingd go. But maybr what makes de difference is the adition of several small ways of saving. I don`t go to a hairdresser and even dye my hair: it`s easy and unexpbnsive. I use piggybanks for coins nad I place some there every time I make a task I should pay someone else to do it. I buy some not so expensive products where price can be overcome by a very good cooking. I use warmer clothes in Winter and keep my house cooler (savings in bills). I gave away my dryer and place each garment in a hanger to dry in the bathroom during the night. After I hang them, I"iron" them with my hand so I seldom use an iron. THat, to brgin with

Well it is not easy but I have coin jars like the rest here that can't be opened but I needed something so I broke it l.o.l. not funny though. But I have started the collection over. Then I heard the Dollar Tree now accepts coupons but it is hard to find anything there that takes a coupon and it can not be but 50 cents no buy one get one free either. But I have been using coupons at the grocery store I use the paper ones and the one that are loaded to my grocery card on savings star. Then with the jobs I have on line I just wait until I get 10 or 20 dollars until I cash out. And the ones I am not sure that will stay around every time I get 2 dollars I cash out. I hope this will help you and have a great day.

Whenever I walk instead of riding a vehicle, I put the money that I should have spent on a coin box. I also maximize the rewards given by my credit card. Like one time, I got a authentic signature watch just by doing my shopping using my card.
